I respect ancelotti but villas boas has something which he never had. The mental strength to make the difficult decision. We saw this when vs ManU villas substituted lampard for anelka because lampard was playing sloppy, a step ancelotti would never have done. We saw this when Ancelotti was against ManU in the champions league he choose torres instead of drogba even though torres played horrible.

Villas-Boas has merely three years experience as a coach, whereas Ancelotti has managed AC Milan and in addition to that played the game! Under Ancelotti players like Malouda, Lampard, Drogba & Ivanovic played their best football. André Villas Boas is a good manager but Chelsea will regret the day they sacked this great manager. He spent well on youths like Ramires & David Luiz. That Russian Dictator should've just let him do his own thing but he had to interfere as always and mess things up by sacking Ray Wilkins and signing Toress who has done n'aff all. Chelsea played attractive football. King Carlo was the best behind Fergie!

I'm a Man Utd fan, I've hated Chelsea, always have done and always will but I had the absolute, ridiculous respect for Chelsea under Ancelotti. Won the FA Cup & Premier League double as well as the Charity Shield in his first season, beat Liverpool, Arsenal & Man Utd all home and away (only conceeding 1 goal in total - at Old Trafford), scored more goals than any previous Premier League champions, scored 6,7,8 goals against teams like Stoke & Aston Villa. He was the best thing since Mourinho!
