It's great when your favourite band resurrects one of their finest songs and gives it fresh life. And Ian Anderson is growing so sexy as he gets older.
Awesome songs! They did a great arrangement of each and pretty faithful to the album, except of course his, ahem, vocals. One of Ian's best vocal periods was around 76. Check out the Madison Sqaure Garden video of Thick as a Brick. Some say he can't hit his high notes anymore, but you can never fault their playing. Iv'e seen them at least 12 times and every show is musically as close to perfect as you can get.
Kind of wonder when this is from as the 2 or 3 versions I have heard from this tour had Ian singing the Reasons part. Not crazy about the sound of O Hara's geekazoid keyboards here, likely sound much better live, would prefer my Tull with grand piano and Hammond B3, manned, ideally, by John Evan. I know, no longer possible.
Why don't those fucking people shut their yaps?!

One of my alltime favorite tull tracks. So much emotion and such a beautiful tune. Wish they would have spent more time on Sossity.

Two of my favorite tunes from Benefit and Stand Up. Makes me a little sad though. I wish I could restore the vocal cords.

i agree about the geekazoid keyboards (solo)...distracts from everything else...sounds like bad church music...
