did you know that the deaths in 9/11 are pale in comparison to the death of the people who live in the middle east? we're desensitised to the deaths of other cultures due to the way the media reports it.

This isn't the past, this is 2012 and ANY racist comment is unacceptable. This comment undoubtedly singles out a race, followed by a derogatory statement about that race. Whether a forced apology is enough or if sacking is required is for Ed Milliband to decide but if you feel strongly enough please sign the 'All racism should be treated equally' petition on the Governments e-Petitions website (petition 2328). But Millions of Irish and Europeans were enslaved and taken to North Africa and millions of Irish were enslaved in America, Australia and the "New World" over the centuries as were countless millions of other Europeans. Also, more Blacks were enslaved by the Arabs than Whites, as stated in the book I have mentioned and that was over a longer period of time. Try and read it, if you can read a book containing hundreds of pages.

The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa is a good book to read. You'll then find out that the Arab Slave Trade was in force longer and affected more Africans than the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. Also try reading up on Black Historian John Hope Franklin who has outlined various pieces of evidence showing that thousands of Blacks in America were free & owned their fellow Black slaves. Also, try and find out hich group OWNED the ships that brought the Blacks to America.
