they made it in something like 2001 and it was called Sims online and people hated it because it wasn't sims anymore. Sims is about you being God and creating your own story, when it went online you lost control of everything except your sim and your house.

the town looks so much more like a town in this video... houses are closer together and the cars move at real speed.. look at the car at 0:42 its moving regular... and if u pause it when its looking at the whole town, u can see the bistro is in another spot and the whole town is way different...

i think the sims 3 should be a massive multiplayer online game. that way you can actually marry people and have families and walk around and chat with REAL people. It gets boring doing it with the same people who are computer generated and are basically lifless.
