I haven´t thought about it but why does most bands from sweden have this kind of voice. the vocalist in Axenstar have a voice very similar to crystal eyes, dragonforce or falconer.

Don't know this band very well, but from first impression, this sounds like a mix of melodic and power. The vocal are very power metal like, however i can also understand the melodic bit. Anyway very good song, i should check these guys out.

Ya know I can actually kinda see where all these people labeling Axenstar as "melodic" metal are coming from. Although Axenstar is without a doubt a strictly power metal band (most definitely my favorite for their genre) however on first listen i could pick up a slight musical influence derived from Gothenburg style melodic death metal especially in the riffs of songs such as Infernal Angel or Blind Leading the Blind, so that may be where the confusion is coming from.
