This is a very commendable thought but I believe he money used to do this would be better served helping the poor and homeless veterans still struggling to live
@joeyjammer Not everyone has the same calling. While supporting poor people and poor vets is a noble calling, so is honoring the fallen. But may I suggest that you use a different forum to push your idea. There is no need to discredit what this man has done or what anyone does that is unselfish!
@joeyjammer - this is HIS way of honoring those who have fallen and it's a beautiful thing ... if you feel the need to do what you mentioned - get started!!
We do need to remember that we are all one....not let people who benefit from causing internal striff get away with driving a wedge between generations, genders, religions, races. These veterans died for EVERYONE in this fine country. We will only be defeated if we are divided. Make an effort to not let that happen - show others how to overcome prejudices and anger. Be active in keeping each other safe. Do these things in honor of those who died for our freedom.
As a Patriot Guard Rider I feel that I honor our service members more than they have been honored in the past. Watching this video really got to me--had to get the box of tissues out. It is great to see that there are a lot of Americans out there that still thank our veterans. I was the Ride Captain in Black Mountain and even though we did not have many citizens at the ceromony it still was an honor to pay tribute to our brothers and sisters that have gone before us.
blu - I have gone on some missions here with the AZ PGR's and while I am still confined to a cage for a while this is an awesome scene. How awesome that you are a captain. It sure makes us all feel proud to be able to do something in our own way. Of course the best hope for any missions are always the ones where we escort the heroes home to their families safe and sound. But as long as there are soldiers out there for us then we can be there for them in this seemingly so small way
*Salute* I'm at a loss of words. That video made my eyes water. I'm glad to know this kind of remembrance goes on. We need to honor all of the current and past veterans of war, dead or alive. Especially those who have died in combat or because of combat. *Salute*
God Bless the soldiers and God Bless those who do such great things.
I hope that some of those who spat on returning Vietnam Vets, and who have undermined todays soldiers have it in their hearts to see just how wrong they have been... unfortunately leftist moonbats don't have hearts!
We lost one of our most Senior PGR members this year. His name is Brad Winchester and he is the 1st Patriot Guard Rider who is interviewed in this video. His burial mission will be on Dec 4th and he will be buried in Arlinton, where he wanted to be.
Thank you Brad for your love and dedication to your fellow fallen Heroes.

What that man does for our fallen men and women goes well beyond what the government does. He should be awarded some sort of medal.
