don't worry about exercise in about, oh maybe 1 to 2 years you will be running your butt off after a toddler..just got back from the beach where I ran all day long(9-5) after my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter you won't believe it but I lost 3 lbs in 4 days..LOL and I thought I was done losing...

Also, keep time for you. As someone who got fat after giving away all of me, I can tell you - it doesn't work. Had VSG on July 8th - down 26 pounds. Feeling great. New beginning.
