@peterhohloch Good point about Zappa mentoring Vai. He used to credit him with "Stunt Guitar" on albums. I never once saw Zappa playing like he was trying to prove himself or compete with someone. There are millions of teenage boys shredding their fingers off in their bedrooms at this very moment who aren't really interested in music - just moving their fingers really really fast. Hope that Yasi can grow as a musician as well as a player. Steve is a phenomenal player AND musician.
