  • Being a native Californian, I travel to Cannery Row once a year for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Steinbeck's description of the Row is similar today as it was back then. People have the misconception that Monterrey Bay is an exclusive town. People could not be more erroneous. It is far from it. The blue collar lifestyle is very present. Thanks for the great vid.
