i just started doing the no spin i do half full and double spin depending on the range mainly i throw by the blade half spin its how i origionaly taught myself jjust started doing no spin a couple months ago i took to it quickly but i dont feel like i have as much control or force behind the blade that way

nice throwing room gunny  i just got done making a couple spring steel wedge shurikens and a few stars im getting to the point where if its got a sharp point i can throw it effectively . its comferting knowing that when the end of dayz comes many will fall before they take my viking ass down do you work with any no spin throws ?

Very nice. I wish I've had my skilles honed, but haven't had a throwing board at home since about 3-4years.

At that time I went to about 8-10cm spikes, they were pretty hard. the smallest things I learned to throw.

The most "uncommon" item was an ordinary dining knive, very thin and half-round head. I remember it penetrated almost an inch to two-by-four wood.. pretty amazing power.

Hey Gunny, I had a guy tell me last night that the K-Bar knife was designed to be used as a boot knife and its best thrown underhand in one motion when pulling it from your boot. Any truth to that??

Never heard that before.

The K-Bar was designed as an all around military utility knife and is a lousy thrower.

Most "bowie" style knives are unbalanced for throwing and the K-Bar is very handle heavy due to the leather wrap on the handle.
