  • I love how you can do all this awesome math yet you forget what complimentary and supplementary are >.>

  • I chuckle to myself every time I see the emergency protractor, knowing that at some point in the near future because of you I'm going to start carrying one myself.

  • I'm actually interested in technical work that you have investigated. Not just geometry, but you've hinted at so many other interests in your videos.

  • You blow my mind.

  • WHAT IS THIS SORCERY!? D:

  • Hey why is that, what if a vector move produced a curve as a result of its environment

like 3dness, touch a sphere make a curve

  • Angle-a-tronception.

  • You should totally send me your notebooks when you fill them up... I'd kill for them.

  • complementary corner or 90 degrees

  • Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees, complementary angles add up to 90.

  • I WANT YOUR NOTEBOOKS.

  • @InfiniteAmusements I would settle for just having her, but I guess I'm not so picky.

  • How about a polytope angle-a-tron.(Please make a video with the fourth,or even fifth dimention.

  • How old are u and did u like get shocked and get mega brain power or just pay attention in school u totaly rock

  • If I could do art better, I would do everything you told me to.

  • Lolwut.

  • oh and also COmplementary, Supplementary. When i was a lad i came up with something that helped with that. Take the CO in the sentance above, with a line added you get 90! Or even the S in supplementary...turns into an 8, and everyone knows 8 is the center # in 180! =)

So to summarize, complemantary = sum to 90 degrees and supplementary = sum to 180

    Your welcome =D

  • @acdiabloc *you're

  • WHY DO I LOVE THESE VIDS SO MUCH!!!

no but seriously, i might just go watch and like all your vids XD well done

I think you meant to say "eleven point two five"!

(Just so you know, I am paying attention :D)

  • I will make these for school...but I need help making a 60 degree angleatron this way...eh maybe I can get a protractor and do it that way...

  • wtf just happened....

  • Thumbs up if you noticed TFiOS has a thank you to Vi Hart in the back?

  • Hello canine, I harked that you enjoy angle-a-trons, so I amalgamated your angle-a-tron with yet another angle-a-tron so you can hate memes while you enjoy Vi Hart.

  • You were on SMOSH

  • The joy and excitement in your voice at the prospect of all these angle-a-trons is so evident. And so amusing.

  • It's RIGHT to give people compliments! So the 90 degree thing is complementary.

  • Hmmmm. As an artist, this sounds distinctively useful.

  • 0:54 its 4D!!!!!

  • brainfuck

  • I just want a megatron..

  • info many... brain go boom

  • Supplementary- Both angels =180• Complementary-Both angels= 90•

  • Erm.....I don't know what you're saying, but I love you.

  • Vihart is amazing. All the "postmodern" artists who like to grab random things and label them "art" need to watch these videos.

  • 1:44 yo I heard you like angle-a-trons so we put some angle-a-trons in your angle-a-tron so you can have some angle-a-trons in your angle-a-tron

  • Sorry, you lost me at angle-a-tron.

  • And l thought l knew math this makes me feel dumb

  • My heart is bursting with nerd awesomeness.

  • Fuck Yeah! Math Porn!

  • Today, I was actually remembered this video when i needed to draw an angle and didnt have a protractor

  • Yo dawg, I herd you like angle-a-trons...

  • i just jizzed 2 this. and now I would like to know the mph it came out. thank u!

  • O_O

  • I don't know why but I find her videos mesmerizing.

  • Why is this popular? It's really boring, and I'm pretty sure it's only news to 3rd graders that have never paid attention in class.

  • @studeknight because boring is subjective

  • @studeknight I hope when I am 13 I will be as smart and cool as you.

  • I wish i was better at maths. I'm only pretty good at liberal arts and physics.

  • @RichardDawkin and as we all know well, smart women love vaguely creepy youtube comments.

  • Wait Wait WAIT!!!...What's An Angle?

  • pft what ever

  • It's no Kurt Angle...

  • @orangeguy1000 Wikipedia has been shown to be reliable most of the time. The only time you cannot trust it is when the citation says "Citation needed" or "Reliable source?" but stupid people don't hack the site and get away with it. Wikipedia is checked all the time.

  • @mvenom101 Who is doing that? I know she actually knows the difference between supplementary and complimentary, I don't see anyone who took that serious.

  • math mind blow

  • Almost a hexaflexagon there. There's some cool art possibilities there.

  • too many trons

  • You make me like maths. You have actually made maths enjoyable for me. Thank you :D

  • I don't get it

  • y u got to be so fucken smart for wtf!

  • Are you the same artist that paints crows? Gothic type paintings? You have the same voice.

  • please do something on Roman numerals I (= 1), V (= 5), X (= 10), L (= 50), C (= 100), D (= 500), and M (= 1000). If a numeral is followed by another numeral of lower denomination, the two are added together; if it is preceded by one of lower denomination, the smaller numeral is subtracted from the greater. Thus VI = 6 (V + I), but IV = 4 (V – I). Other examples are XC (= 90), CL (= 150), XLIV (= 44). Multiples of a thousand are indicated by a superior bar: thus, ̅V = 5000, ̅X = 10 000,

  • I just want to breed with you and have our children be little geniuses at math and English. (Too creepy? Sorry :/)

  • sounds so nerdy

  • @ticotico9000

It's sad that these days intelligence is seen as a negative trait, but at least it means people like you will breeze through life, since you don't have the burdon of intellect.

  • @rosydonut im pretty smart myself i don't need to nerdy.... dear rosypussy

  • lol 4ever alon e

  • You know that raspy sound in Vi's voice at the end of each phrase, the sound that makes it so sexy?

It's called vocal fry (it's not a semantic sound in English of course, but in Vietnamese it is!). It started making its way into many English (especially American) accents only relatively recently.

    BAM science!

  • @LankyCyril In Vihart's case, that isn't a phonetic expression, semiologically speaking. It is a physiological expression, probably caused by the same thing that causes her fricated "s" instead of sybilant "s".

  • @LankyCyril Thanks for the lingusitic science. Personally, I find vocal fry far more pleasing than the trend from a generation ago-- the one that turned every phrase into a question? Especially in this same demographic? of young women? in college?

Fuddies bemoaning how vocal fry is ruining English have short memories.

  • @CapriUni Good point, that was more annoying than this. The more serious problem with vocal fry is that it can eventually damage the voice.

  • Complimentary = when added to angle = 90º

Supplementary = when added to angle = 180º

  • She has a very attractive voice and she's intelligent!

  • Sixty degrees - also easy if you have a compass, or string and a tack.

  • Whut?

  • marry me plz

  • @GoendahGoelana

    dont marry him marry me

  • -Forever Alone-

  • She even throws angles in her name. Vi for victory.

  • you must hate it when a circle rocks up to your party

  • @starofthetube Nah, cos that angle-o-tron is still 1/2^0 :P

  • how about herp-a-derp-a-tron?

  • My mind exploded @ 2:03...

  • this is like a whole level up from doodling in maths class. It's like fidgeting in maths class!

  • So deliciously nerdy.

  • I am completely useless at mathematics, and mostly I have no idea what you're saying, but I find it FASCINATING.

  • Dear Vi: Please fold me a teapotahedronatron.

  • I wonder what her angle is...

  • Love it! absolutely love it! :D

  • this is fantastic

  • your geometry teacher must have loved you

  • Will you...will you marry me?

  • I wish I was smart like you!
