oh and also COmplementary, Supplementary. When i was a lad i came up with something that helped with that. Take the CO in the sentance above, with a line added you get 90! Or even the S in supplementary...turns into an 8, and everyone knows 8 is the center # in 180! =)

So to summarize, complemantary = sum to 90 degrees and supplementary = sum to 180

You know that raspy sound in Vi's voice at the end of each phrase, the sound that makes it so sexy?

It's called vocal fry (it's not a semantic sound in English of course, but in Vietnamese it is!). It started making its way into many English (especially American) accents only relatively recently.
