I really like some of the little imperfections that can be found in this style of animation!The Brothers Quay also seem to play with textures & colors that give a kind of aged industrial look to what they do! They are simply brilliant artists!

the film soundtrack is by Stefan Cichonski, but it would probably be very hard to trace all the bits of organ music he used

yeah, it probably is. the soundtrack is kind of a collage of original and old musics. there's a little bit of Bartok in there for example. it would take an organ music expert to identify all the excerpts.
