  • John Hiatt said the same thing on his record - that's cool

  • @mrtvsmith I think they actually sampled this recording (in "Don't Bug Me When I'm Working").

  • I loved to hear this. A great harmonica player and a great producer trying to get something done. I loved it.

  • If you hate your boss, listen to this right before you go to work, for inspiration.

  • He said motherfucker! That's terrible :)

  • Bless the world of music. How else can a poor man from Arkansas travel the world and spread the word of the blues with a marine band harmonica. I had the album with this tune but it was different than the one shown.

  • If anyone cares, there's a second take that's more together as far as the lyric is concerned. Maybe someone could post that too.

  • Love this, it's too fast baby!

  • Sonny Boy was from the little village of Glendora MS. Leonard Chess loved to get the musicians mad and call them "mother fuckers" to get them angry enough to give the songs some grit.

  • godlove the into.

  • err..intro!

  • This is certainly one of my favorite songs by Sonny Boy, along with "Baby you got to help me" and Decoration Day." I have to say the man was a bad ass on a harp!! A real pioneer!! He's taught me everything i know almost, along with all kinds of folks i'm sure! There's still some sound affects though that he makes that i still don't have a clue how how he did 'em no matter how many times i listen to his cds, and maybe never wilI! I love his clear note and bright sound! what a man!! R.I.P. Sonny!

  • Thanks for this, totally knocked out by it and fast becoming obsessed by the man !

  • I swear my Pop's sounds just like him. "You can name it your momma mutha fuckah" I love ya Pop's.

  • A little village mother fucker

  • This is an all-time favorite! Sonnyboy you ruled. He was a truly gifted harp player, who inspired me to take a stab at learning how to play. I quickly gave up.

  • LOL hilarious. yeah me too haha!

  • The instrument is much more difficult than I thought.

  • Ha-ha-ha Awesome.

    A little village mother fucker!

  • The intro of this is priceless.

  • "thats too fast baby!" aww i love the way he talks

  • ooh, this may be new sonnyboy favourite :D 5 stars my friend.
