@CrewHooligan13 he just gave me a pair of hands on soccer goalie gloves that he personalized for the milwaukee wave goalie, nick vorberg. pretty sweet.
Don't miss your chance to see the former Crunch players. May 21st att eh Cleveloand Gladiators game. Comemorative posters and soccer card sets with autographs will be available as the champions of the 1990's are recognized!
E-mail Otto or join our e-mail list at the handsonsoccer website.
i was in 5th grade when this happened!!! i was there for this game!!! i was there!!!! will never forget when a soccer team brought aChampionship!! back to Cleveland!!!
I don't get it. Fast paced, high scoring and it still can't make it in the U.S. I don't get it. Hector, Zoran and Otto were some of the league's best. I miss the NPSL/MISL
*I* count this as a real championship. Soccer is soccer, indoor, outdoor, American type or futsal. Is basketball no longer a real league since the adoption of the three point shot?
I am from Cleveland, live in Phoenix now. The way the guy behind the goal celebrated, and even the Cleveland PD officer celebrated for this title.....wow can you imagine what it will be like when the Browns, Indians or Cavs when a major sports title??
great video Hector. I played with Hector back in 1983 when we won the Canadian Championship with Toronto Italia(25 year anniversary this summer)...never seen him run so fast in my life, and he was our sweeper back then...congrats Hector
Look at Hector, and then all the fans acting like we just won a real championship for Cleveland. We hadn't sniffed glory in 30 years at that point, so it was a good feeling. The Crunch were awesome I miss them.
I love it!! Thanks for posting this. The only thing that could be better if we could watch the whole game again. Otto, Hector, et al, thanks for providing Cleveland with something to be proud of, not just '93, but your other two championships also. You will not be forgotten. :)
Otto Orf is my hero. I'm pretty sure he played this game with a pulled hamstring. That diving header save he made at 0:24 was amazing!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Because they weren't playing in a real league. No soccer league that plays with basketball scoring is real. So there. :-P

I was at this game!! That was like the height of indoor soccer period. Now the league doesn't even exist.

I was fortunate to witness all three championships by the Crunch. It's a shame they are no longer in existance.

I was in the color-guard for that game. Not only that, but when John Ball threw his shin guards into the crowd, I caught one of them.
