the horses ears arent pinned.......theyre turned towards his rider because he is concentrating and listening to him. if the ears were pinned, they would be lying FLAT on the horses head!
the point of the dance is for it to have short choppy steps..and its ears weren't pinned back they were flicking about attentively..and the point is for the rider to move with the horse and as you can tell the riders bouncing is what lets the horse know to lift its leg
Some people are so culturally myopic and ignorant it's ridiculous. Who are you to decide what constitutes correct use and what does not? That horse is moving naturally, it has not been subjected to formal schooling and as such it is unreasonable to expect it to perform more complicated moves. On December 24,2006 at 8 o'clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter.if you don't repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. @WithoutWingsWeFly Whats your problem? You don't have to correct everyone. It looks like you went through and found every comment you did not like and replied in an asshole like manner. Some people may not know very much about horses or riding but it does not mean you have to cuss them out on Youtube. That is very immature.
People look again! The boy is "bouncing" on purpose... he's pushing with his seat. While it may look like a piaffe, I'm pretty sure that the Arabs have been doing long before dressage was a discipline. My guess , the head is not suppose to be tucked. That is an European thing that has been exaggerated to the point of of causing damage. Amazing to me is that he appears to be riding in tennis shoes. That little bounce is not that unusual in Arabians. Normally when you don't want it :)
Actually, my family owned a few Arabians. We typically didn't ride them when they danced. The Arabian horse is actually anatomically different from any other horse documented. They have one less vertebrae, and a larger chest and lung capacity. They took a different evolutionary route- prancing is natural.
@Weebonilass You do realize that dressage originated with the ancient Romans right? Piaffe is defined as "trot on the spot" which obviously what this horse is doing, and it was created to maintain circulation in the horses' legs when they had to stand in one place for a long time. The big issue is not that head is up but that the back is hollow. Hollowing the back puts a great deal of stress on the horse's back especially when a bouncing rider is involved.
yep the horse is doing the Piaffe. On of the "Airs about the ground" in classical riding performed by the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and generally in classical dressage.

that horse is not well trained at all and he is a lousy rider. even I know you should sit still, imagine someone bouncing up and down on your back when your trying to dance. you should not have to use a whip continuously for obedience, my horses always did what I wanted without any aids, training is in the mind not the body.
not because I am great they were just well trained and experienced. my horse friends never used whips like that or bounced like that doing piaffes.
Also, the horse has been bred to do that, and although the horse may not like it (it will naturally do the "dancing" anywhere... E.g. (when out for a ride) it's kinda a jibblle jobble trot, but normally the horse will move insted of doing it on the spot...
Wow that horse looks stressed. His head is back, pinned ears, short choppy steps. Oh, and you know horses just LOVE it when their rider's spine is basically made of JELL-O! Anyways.. Yeah that's about it, the horse looks pissed and misused.
@TheOrangeOstrich Yesh, the horse might be stressed.. but... 1. Arabian horses are proud, they hold their head high. 2. The ears.. it's listening to the rider C: 3.. It's called piaffe. The horse might not like it, but the riders still forces their horses to look " pretty ". Don't you watch dressage-competitions? o_o
@SauenSierBae clearly you dont watch or ride dressage. arabians do not hold their heads like that naturally, nor are they "prouder" than other breeds. the poor rider has no idea how to ask for a piaffe, or he would be shifting his weight from side to side more and using his legs.
Why is it that every video on YouTube that has a horse doing a piaffe in it has at least one comment about it being animal cruelty, the rider doesn't know what he/she's doing, or the horse is miserable? Just enjoy the video people. And if you don't like it, leave without another word. Sheesh.. -_-'
I used to have a little gray Arab who would dance sideways every time he passed another animal.... cow, dog, horse or cat. It was his way of watching them for his own amusement. He liked other creatures. He once danced side ways on me so he could listen and watch a red wing blackbird on a fence. The think i underline is that he would continue to move in the same straight line. He was just dancing sideways. Completely his own behavior. You had to step up the pace to pull him out of it.
i had a horse in Giza and I have seen alot of "dancing" horses. To train them they use spikes in the boots to poke the horse and a mouthpiece that is sharp and cuts to the tongue. Once i saw one of these horses yawning and his tonque was allmost cut in the middle and the end of it was hanging...There are peopple who use nicer methods but often the horses are treated very bad. My horse was also a dancer and his behaviour was very bad because he had been treated cruelly before i got him.
the way they train these horses to dance is incredibley cruel...anyone that thinks dancing horses are something beautiful needs to look further into how it is done..and NO arabians do NOT dance naturally like that..YES they are agile and spirited animals..they prance at times because they want to run..but dancing in one spot like this rider is doing is trained into them by a cruel method...and yes i have owned an arab!
@lakota123max well in the videos i watch the horse LOVE to do dressage! there ears are up there moveing the tail to the beat they have a beautiful movement. if you dont believe me go to the search bar and type in "ANDREAS HELGSTRAND WEG2006 Freestyle Final" and watch that horse its a abouslt beauty....... DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE HORSES THERE MY DREAM THE THE BEST I DONT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST HORSES! i just dont know how they train them but bye the finishing looks they look like they have fun..
@WithoutWings WeFly ACTUALLY... I wasn't even saying anything about how it was cruel to the horse... I was just saying what I saw, I wasn't citisizing the rider! oh, and YOU actually need to go and get a life, you've replied to like 100 comments on this video...
By the way just for all u wankers picking on this poor young boy who's doing an excellent job from a third world country... the horse is playing with the bit ... this means its comfortable and almost bored, he is not STRESSED, the boy just doent know how to bring the horses head down on the bit which is no biggy, i seen some so called grand prix dressage riders JAMMING horses head down by force on the bit.. at least this boys not doing that to the horses, he's just asking him to piaffe BIGDEAL
@WithoutWingsWeFly and how wud u no? unless u r the boy in the vid then you wouldnt no. how the heck wud u no tht the horse is playing with the bit? exactally u wouldnt for all u no he could of switched to a new one before he rode. second u dont no the horse isnt stressed. third you dont no tht the boy doesnt no how to "bump" the horses head or as u say lower it. SO THINK BEFORE U POST SOMETHING CUZ THT COMMENT MAKES U SOUND DUMB, AT LEAST TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT HORSES ND RIDERS...
@alyssababyxoxo2009 Type "Tbourida" or "arabian horse" in search and u will see them all dancing even without any music, and also many dancing with no music or rider...they are the ONLY race NATURALLY like that.
here is an example
watch?v=UcQjzmjYdjA
(Music in that video its only added)
So stop been stupid, u dont own an Arabian horse u shouldnt even comment.
@SonsOfLibertyy yeea uhm a horse just doesnt do that. you have to train it to do that...its actually a dressage move, when the horse trots on the spot its called a passage. to accomplish it the horse needs to know how to collect, and the rider needs a lot of leg. so sorry...you shouldn't have commented.
seriously... this poor horse is doing absoloutly all it can to please its rider while the rider isn't letting it? what the hell is wrong with this person??
That poor Arabian. . . He obviously doesn't know how to ride. Is he a noodle, or something? That poor horse was trying to break free, but that cruel man wasn't letting him. Cruelty!
@horseloverforever11 you can clearly see the reins bouncing on some beats if the rein was tight then they wouldnt bounce now would they? i mean seriously i've seen people trained in natural hosemanship yanking their horses heads down then saying that it was the horse refusing the bit. at least he has the smarts not to peeve off his horse just to look better. i think personaly that he's doing wonderful especally as he only tightens the reins every ten beats or so, so that his horse knos hes there
@horseloverforever11 actually they bouced pretty much every beat... you need to open your eyes a bit hun (also the last line of my pervious post was supposed to be: so that his horse knows that he is there. -i ran out of room on that las post so sorry for the horrid grammar in the end of that post-)
a true rider doin that wud be stiller than hell. the horse wud then be able to arch it's its neck and move freer. just fyi for all who think this looks...."pretty".
I think its pretty but like the others said it is not right in the vid the horse looks very uncomfortable. He dosent like it. But i am gonna subscribe ya kk please subscribe me
would u all get a fukn life, he is in a third world country what do u expect, all they know there is how to bash & run over animals, he knows not better and has learned this far, leave him alone
@WithoutWingsWeFly ACTUALLY... I wasn't even saying anything about how it was cruel to the horse... I was just saying what I saw, I wasn't citisizing the rider! oh, and YOU actually need to go and get a life, you've replied to like 100 comments on this video..
@WithoutWingsWeFly WTH ARE U TALKING ABOUT ALL THEY NO HOW TO DO IS BASH AND RUN OVER ANIMALS THT IS NOT ONLY NOT TRUE THT IS PLAIN RUDE TO THE PPL WHO LIVE THERE
@MrGezamo thank you MrGezamo i don't see why every video of horses has something about oh this is cruel this isn't natural my only comment to that is "and the internet is natural?" horses are large majestic animals and yes in every discaplin (spelled that wrong srry) a horse can be mistreated but if you can teach a horse to buck and have fun on a cue then im sure this is possable without hurting it .what i meant to say is thank you for pointing out that this isn't in anyway detrimental to it
1) I ride horses, bouncng around on their does them no harm, that the normal way you trot two, so the rider is doing the horse no harm in that way.
2)If the horse was traumatized it could easly throw the rider off, i know this first hand when a car came behind me, honked it horn, and inturn threw me off the horse.
3) these horses are trained and reared from a young age to do this, they are not frightened at all.
This post isnt a lash at anybody im just trying to show that this wont hurt it.
That is just a sick thing to do. poor horse :(.... i mean it was being literally beaten to death. and the performance wasnt even good anyway. uuggghhhhhh......
First of all not sure how this will qualify as evil. Now I wasn't there or know of this custoe-so really do not know if the boy was bouncing or just moving as part of the dance. As in was he doing it on purpose or just didn't know how to ride. But otherwise my Arab will jig much faster when I stop her from going fast on the trail.
At worst assuming he was bouncing, you can say he didn't know how to ride. If you wan't evil , go to some dressage barns and see what they do tot heir horses.
Everybody here who think really this is a beduine who can ride well and treat his horse well is fucking faggot!!! This is in a hotel, a show for tourists!!!! And i seen the stable and what they do before the show begins... its absolutly sad and disgusting!!!
@LizzyDion so, ask other people if egyptians (not all but the most, cause they dont learn how to do with animals) are cruel to animals.. Many egyptians themself say that (i know some from a animals protectgroup in egypt and what they do THIS IS GREAT) What tourists see in a trip, that are NOT REAL bedouins. Or was u alone with a friend and a car in desert? I dont think so.. Do you believe aslo in bananapapyrus?? :D:D
No Body said that the boy can "ride" he is like what 14 ? but yes he can ride better than the average person, maybe he can't ride better than you, if that makes you feel better.
Do i have to be alone in a car to see bedouins ?
Okay let me tell you some facts about them .
1) Not all Bedouins are Nomads,
2) Few of them are Smugglers and drug dealers, (i assume you know that since u implaied that i was alone in a car for some wicked reason) ,BUT they are not all smugglers
@LizzyDion I am not ill mannered.. but it make me ill if some people say this guy on the horse can ride and the horse isnt poor .. and in the right there is a shpinx, but its not in the vid. Go to ALF LEILA WA LEILA and have look.
@LizzyDion and the last thing: Yes egyptians are very nice people, and if one are really your friend from heart u have a good friend. But the most are nice to you cause they like some money :D:D
@Darohajo i know alf Lela wa lela, i have been there, it's in sharm, Over the Al Hadaba (The hill), but to be honest with ya mate,. i can;t remember these sense..
You said "ask anyone" and they will tell me Egyptians are crule to animales ? like what do you mean by Anyone ? If you really mean anybody, chances are he won't know anything about Egyptians.
Yes i do have Alot of egyptians Friends, since i studied Egyptology and Anthropology, and i have been there alot
@Darohajo For you to say that are "Friendly" because of your money is kinda Twisted.....Where are you from anyway , and doute you are from Switzerland, since you have very strong opinion on Egyptians.
It seems to me that you really hate the "Egyptians" rather than feel simpathy to the "poor" horse in the video.
If you really have been in Egypt, you would know that alot of people there live more miserably than this horse
The boy is supposed to do that. Its a basic to riding a horse. It helps the horses back not hurt so much when the boy goes down. Instead of the boy banging hard into the back of the horse he goes with the horses movement and absorbs the shock.
go to Arabia or egypt and watch how they ride their horses, Bedouines are the ones who know arabian horses better than anyone else.
the horses back won't hurt because the saddle isn't an ordinary saddle, it's a special saddle and it's thicker than normal saddles, so it doesn't hurt the horses back because the boy bounces a little. look closer to how the boy moves his feet and arms. if you guys are so smart then you would understand that he helps the horse in "dancing"
@CloudStrife2014 ur a faggot! To help the horse dance??? U have no idea about horses.... this horses (they are in a very little stable in ahotel!!) are very abused !!!
exactly as u said u wanker... over here, in NOT a third world country, i think he's doing an excellent job at it considering he has NO western/english training.
It's much better to see peruvian "de paso" horses doing something more playful and elegant without hurting the horses back, check it out on youtube "caballo peruano de paso".
that is so sad! what they have to do to make the horse do that is torture, it rips at their mouth. and plus, the guy doesn't know what he is doing. for god's sake!

SO THINK BEFORE U POST SOMETHING CUZ THT COMMENT MAKES U SOUND DUMB, AT LEAST TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT HORSES ND RIDERS...
alyssababyxoxo2009 1 year ago
@alyssababyxoxo2009 Type "Tbourida" or "arabian horse" in search and u will see them all dancing even without any music, and also many dancing with no music or rider...they are the ONLY race NATURALLY like that.
here is an example
watch?v=UcQjzmjYdjA
(Music in that video its only added)
So stop been stupid, u dont own an Arabian horse u shouldnt even comment.

@SonsOfLibertyy wth does any of tht have to do with anything i said
alyssababyxoxo2009 1 year ago
@SonsOfLibertyy yeea uhm a horse just doesnt do that. you have to train it to do that...its actually a dressage move, when the horse trots on the spot its called a passage. to accomplish it the horse needs to know how to collect, and the rider needs a lot of leg. so sorry...you shouldn't have commented.

thats funny because it looked like a frikken loose rein to me u idiot
WithoutWingsWeFly 1 year ago
@WithoutWingsWeFly How does that look like a lose rein? That is a stupid thing to say!
horseloverforever11 1 year ago
@horseloverforever11 you can clearly see the reins bouncing on some beats if the rein was tight then they wouldnt bounce now would they? i mean seriously i've seen people trained in natural hosemanship yanking their horses heads down then saying that it was the horse refusing the bit. at least he has the smarts not to peeve off his horse just to look better. i think personaly that he's doing wonderful especally as he only tightens the reins every ten beats or so, so that his horse knos hes there
LittleMustangMare 1 year ago
@LittleMustangMare Well they only bounced on SOME beats.
horseloverforever11 1 year ago
@horseloverforever11 actually they bouced pretty much every beat... you need to open your eyes a bit hun (also the last line of my pervious post was supposed to be: so that his horse knows that he is there. -i ran out of room on that las post so sorry for the horrid grammar in the end of that post-)

MrGezamo 1 year ago
@MrGezamo thank you MrGezamo i don't see why every video of horses has something about oh this is cruel this isn't natural my only comment to that is "and the internet is natural?" horses are large majestic animals and yes in every discaplin (spelled that wrong srry) a horse can be mistreated but if you can teach a horse to buck and have fun on a cue then im sure this is possable without hurting it .what i meant to say is thank you for pointing out that this isn't in anyway detrimental to it
LittleMustangMare 1 year ago
@LittleMustangMare yup :) and np heh :D
MrGezamo 1 year ago
1) I ride horses, bouncng around on their does them no harm, that the normal way you trot two, so the rider is doing the horse no harm in that way.
2)If the horse was traumatized it could easly throw the rider off, i know this first hand when a car came behind me, honked it horn, and inturn threw me off the horse.
3) these horses are trained and reared from a young age to do this, they are not frightened at all.
This post isnt a lash at anybody im just trying to show that this wont hurt it.

@Darohajo
1) You are so ill mannered, i guess you are around 15-18 years old..
2) There is no "sphinxe" in the back...it's rams, go figure
3) Saying the "Egyptians" can't ride is like saying all americans are fat.
4) Am not the guy in the video, in fact i am not a guy atall, but i guess you lack the brain cells which let people read people's usernames ?
5) I have been to Egypt many times, and i have seen horses there, and i don;t need you to tell me they are "crule" to animals
American Rodeo
LizzyDion 1 year ago
@LizzyDion so, ask other people if egyptians (not all but the most, cause they dont learn how to do with animals) are cruel to animals.. Many egyptians themself say that (i know some from a animals protectgroup in egypt and what they do THIS IS GREAT) What tourists see in a trip, that are NOT REAL bedouins. Or was u alone with a friend and a car in desert? I dont think so.. Do you believe aslo in bananapapyrus?? :D:D
Darohajo 1 year ago
@Darohajo
LizzyDion 1 year ago
@LizzyDion I am not ill mannered.. but it make me ill if some people say this guy on the horse can ride and the horse isnt poor .. and in the right there is a shpinx, but its not in the vid. Go to ALF LEILA WA LEILA and have look.
Darohajo 1 year ago
@LizzyDion and the last thing: Yes egyptians are very nice people, and if one are really your friend from heart u have a good friend. But the most are nice to you cause they like some money :D:D
Darohajo 1 year ago
@LizzyDion Search here for "egyptian alf leila wa leila horse" do you believe me now??? :D
Darohajo 1 year ago
@Darohajo i know alf Lela wa lela, i have been there, it's in sharm, Over the Al Hadaba (The hill), but to be honest with ya mate,. i can;t remember these sense..
You said "ask anyone" and they will tell me Egyptians are crule to animales ? like what do you mean by Anyone ? If you really mean anybody, chances are he won't know anything about Egyptians.
Yes i do have Alot of egyptians Friends, since i studied Egyptology and Anthropology, and i have been there alot
LizzyDion 1 year ago
@Darohajo For you to say that are "Friendly" because of your money is kinda Twisted.....Where are you from anyway , and doute you are from Switzerland, since you have very strong opinion on Egyptians.
It seems to me that you really hate the "Egyptians" rather than feel simpathy to the "poor" horse in the video.
If you really have been in Egypt, you would know that alot of people there live more miserably than this horse
LizzyDion 1 year ago
@Darohajo Anyway, this conversation is really pointless , since it is driffting to weird topics.
and anyway, you are intitled to your opinion, and i respect that.
but as i told you before, i think you have a grudge toward Egyptians rather than deffending this horse.
One last thing, what is bananapapyrus, is that like some sorta anime you watched when you were young? :P
remind me of spongebob

Calm down people. This horse is an athlete with obvious training and care. And have some of you ever even sat on a horse...
kaylyn32309 1 year ago
The boy is supposed to do that. Its a basic to riding a horse. It helps the horses back not hurt so much when the boy goes down. Instead of the boy banging hard into the back of the horse he goes with the horses movement and absorbs the shock.
makesyalaugh 1 year ago
go to Arabia or egypt and watch how they ride their horses, Bedouines are the ones who know arabian horses better than anyone else.
the horses back won't hurt because the saddle isn't an ordinary saddle, it's a special saddle and it's thicker than normal saddles, so it doesn't hurt the horses back because the boy bounces a little. look closer to how the boy moves his feet and arms. if you guys are so smart then you would understand that he helps the horse in "dancing"
CloudStrife2014 1 year ago
@CloudStrife2014 ur a faggot! To help the horse dance??? U have no idea about horses.... this horses (they are in a very little stable in ahotel!!) are very abused !!!

5698sara1 1 year ago
@5698sara1 am sure that wouldn;t feel pretty..
but thats because the horse is 20x his weight..
in the other hand, the boy is fraction of the horse's weight, it's not killing him, don't worry
