Hey, thanks for the grid, works perfectly. Just wondering, do you have the full octaves grid? Or do you know where i can find it?

Hi there, just a small suggestion - it might be worth mentioning in the instructions what paper size this is meant for - depending on which country you're from I assume must be either A4 or legal? (I'll try A4 on regular copier paper as that's all I've got here at work, but it might save some people some time if it's in the instructions).

Would I be better using the ionian scale (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C) when using two octaves or shall I just use one octave and use the chromatic scale with your grid?

Sorry for being annoying but I'm trying to play the K-Pro to accompany a guitar which is playing in the key of B and is using B, D#, E and A# so I thought the chromatic scale might be best suited for the song.

@P0LYG0NW1ND0W im not very good with scales and stuff but have you tried to play the ionian scale in B? You can change which key the kaossilator plays in.

The grid is made for scales with 7 keys * 2= 14 notes = 14 squares . The

the large spaces at each end and the center black square is the base key ( standard is C) but in your case you should try to change it to B and play in the ionian scale.. if the ionian scale doesn't work just try another scale until you find one that sounds good.

@90hero99 I think I'm trying to play the notes too exactly and trying to play sharps and flats and the K-Pro isn't really designed for that. It's mainly designed to play with your finger as each square is roughly the same size as the tip of your finger and so when you play like that, each square represents one note in a scale.

I tried changing the key to B and still using the ionian scale and it worked a little better.

Ah, so if I set the scale to Chromatic (C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, Gb, G, Ab, A, Bb, B, C) and use 2 octaves as you suggest in your video, then what would the spaces represent? I'm using the Tape Flute sound (A.043) and it says that left-to-right (X axis) is notes and up-and-down (Y axis) is major chords.

In your grid you have 15 spaces across (inc. black spaces and the two large spaces at each end) so I'm trying to figure out what note is in each space.

Great video but please can you tell me which note each of the spaces represents? Presumably this is in the key of C? I don't know if the black spaces are sharp/flat notes as they don't seem to be set out like a keyboard.

I don't understand which order the notes go in to follow the scale of C, D, E, F, G, A, B etc.

@P0LYG0NW1ND0W If you check you manual you will see all the scales and wich tones that are in them.. What tone the spaces represents depends on wich scale you are playing in and how many octaves you have set the kaossilator pro to

yo man love this thing...totally changed my kaoss experience...i loved my little kaoss grid, but the kpro is much easier to follow since the lines are so strait and the fit under the yellow rim is perfect...i moded my grid. thanks for the stuff bro! i need to make more videos

good idea but easier to hit the keys on a synth- cant see how you are gonna move the pen from note to note accurately fast

If you want to hit them right buy a Synth don't know the point of this you want a kaossilator but you want also to hit right notes...
