Did you do any pump work? I just had mine rebuilt and use DDP 75hp injectors, Colombus Laser Cut High flow valves, and 5K governor springs. Made a HUGE difference in performance. I tow a lot and had custom built compounds put on. Those 3 upgrades gave me an additional 30 pounds of boost.

@MrCliffDescent you got a couple things bassakwards first off the smoke comes with the power... until the turbo lights smokes gone and so am I. second your 7.3 does not make 525hp with just a chip intake and exhaust... prob doesnt get 23mpg either. yes i get 22mpg hand calcd and no smoke is not unburnt oil its unburnt fuel incomplete burn turns it black. I just installed a new 62/65/12 turbo and mine will be close to 500hp with intake, exhuast, fuel system, injectors, chip, turbo, trans, ect.
@MrCliffDescent the common misconception is that people think you add factory hp numbers which off the bat is flywheel hp not rear wheel. then they add the numbers of advertised hp from intakes, exhausts, and chips and think thats what you get... very wrong your 7.3 is probably closer to 350hp bud

hey man, your truck took too many cranks to start, I would recommend you change your fuel filter and maybe take a look for fuel leaks or possible areas where air can get sucked in, a 24 valve should start instantly, just trying to help ya out, don't want ya to run your injection pump a little on the dry side, those things are expensive eh, love the truck btw, those stacks are very tasteful, ive seen a lot of stacks that look like crap but these are just right

@9412vpullin I wanted to try some different tuning and the quad got too hot in my opinion with my 100hp injectors. I could get to 1675! with the edge on the hot unlock tune the highest i can possibly get is like 1507 and thats at over 100mph so i really never worry about it. normally at full throttle in OD its like 1250-1400 not bad i need a turbo!
what chip,injectors turbo you got on it? Im in the process of rebuilding mine ECSB we mixed some flame orange with hemi orange. it will look awsome ;) I am gonna order a goerand tranny and need some more info on mods. What you got done to yours?
@baallzdeep im runnin an edge juice with attitude which id highly recommend which also has the "hot unlock" also has 100hp FBD injectors, unfortunately stock turbo i know i know, fass 95gph fuel system (need to upgrade to a 150gph), mildly built tranny btw id stick with goerend what else BHAF intake, 5'' to 6'' stacks and thats about it. runs like a bat outta hell.

I do miss hearing just the engine noise. With those 6"ers right behind you with a regular cab you dont hear much Powerstroke clatter unless your standing by front end of the truck, the VGT turbo is over powering. First time I drove it with the stacks and the windows down I couldnt hear shit for hours.

@9412vpullin I wanted to try some different tuning and the quad got too hot in my opinion with my 100hp injectors. I could get to 1675! with the edge on the hot unlock tune the highest i can possibly get is like 1507 and thats at over 100mph so i really never worry about it. normally at full throttle in OD its like 1250-1400 not bad i need a turbo!

what chip,injectors turbo you got on it? Im in the process of rebuilding mine ECSB we mixed some flame orange with hemi orange. it will look awsome ;) I am gonna order a goerand tranny and need some more info on mods. What you got done to yours?

@baallzdeep im runnin an edge juice with attitude which id highly recommend which also has the "hot unlock" also has 100hp FBD injectors, unfortunately stock turbo i know i know, fass 95gph fuel system (need to upgrade to a 150gph), mildly built tranny btw id stick with goerend what else BHAF intake, 5'' to 6'' stacks and thats about it. runs like a bat outta hell.

@Txpsd9673 Oh ya, the 03 6.0L is a screamer!! The 03 has the 10-vane SUPER loud VGT turbo, the 03's also start a little harder than the 04-07's so it starts with a big rough wuuushing sound.
I do miss hearing just the engine noise. With those 6"ers right behind you with a regular cab you dont hear much Powerstroke clatter unless your standing by front end of the truck, the VGT turbo is over powering. First time I drove it with the stacks and the windows down I couldnt hear shit for hours.
