I am with those who are against the breeding of your dog. If he and the dam are papered and you have done all the research you could do WITH the help of professionals, fine. But make sure you have homes lined up for them BEFORE they are born. And because they are Pits, check the background of the potential owners. Write up a legal contract saying they must be spayed/neutered and that they must give the pup back to you if they can no longer keep the dog. You seem like a decent owner and I doubt

One of them as a puppy (female) and the other one as an adult (male). The adult pit had been there for almost 3 months. As much as I would've loved to see them have pups & pass on their great temps, way too many need to b adopted. I love the breed so much that I will adopt again when I am ready <3

I am with those who are against the breeding of your dog. If he and the dam are papered and you have done all the research you could do WITH the help of professionals, fine. But make sure you have homes lined up for them BEFORE they are born. And because they are Pits, check the background of the potential owners. Write up a legal contract saying they must be spayed/neutered and that they must give the pup back to you if they can no longer keep the dog. You seem like a decent owner and I doubt

ahh soo cute!! he's a gorgeous pit, but please don't breed him... there are too many pits in shelters and too many are being put down simply for their breed. i was at the shelter the other day and there were 6 pit puppies (i have a vid of 3) under 4 months old... 3 different litters, all owner surrenders, i assume because they couldn't find people who would buy them and they were getting too big to handle all of them. be a responsible pit owner, don't breed him.

i dont see why pit bulls are banned, there is no such thing as a bad born pitbull, just a bad owner that think they are all cool having a vicious pitbull, there just like every other dog that love there trainer, i have a pitbull myself and she would not hurt a fly because ive trained her that way, all bad owners of pitbulls are just wrecking it for everyone else by making them banned in some states, so breed them as much as you want just sell them to good people not dumbasses.

The reason why so many pits are being put down in shelters is because noone wants a fucking mixed breed or litle bitch pit. That's all you mostly find at shelters. Pitbulls that have been mistreated, abused, and are scarred for life.

@rdsugr26 U r so right. According to stats in my county, pitbulls r the dog with the lowest adoption rate. That's because of the bad rap. And that's also why I got 2 rescues. One of them as a puppy (female) and the other one as an adult (male). The adult pit had been there for almost 3 months. As much as I would've loved to see them have pups & pass on their great temps, way too many need to b adopted. I love the breed so much that I will adopt again when I am ready <3

I got my beautiful pit mix at the shelter! She was one of the lucky ones.. Apparently, she was there for 4 months!! Way longer than she was supposed to be there, but she was so awesome, the pound just couldnt get rid of her!! I love my pit!!

beautiful dog. :) my advice though is that you do not breed your dog as nice as it would be to have cute little pitt pups running around. You don't know who they are really going to unless you do the work to check them out first. And there are many many pits and other dogs being put down in shelters because they do not have homes. Most of those being Pit puppies or adults. I would hope that if you do breed that your pups don't end up in one of those shelters...

I volunteer with a pit rescue, please do NOT breed your dog, as they will likely end up in a shelter waiting on a rescue or end up euthanized. There is a major pit overpopulation, we cannot possibly rescue them all! Do your pet a favour and have him fixed.
