now i have a question. you say on this video description that phil B sings i his normal voice, I can very much hear that this time his voice is a lot lwer then it usually is. do you have any idea as to why he's singing in his normal voice in this comapred to the other tapes?
I love hearing Phil Baron sing in his normal voice =) what does that mean? you mean that he usually changes his voice when he sings? huh? i'm confused
@Nuggetlover96 Teddy's voice is just slightly higher-pitched than his normal voice. Listen to some of his Goin' Quacker's stuff and you'll see what I mean
Oh i like this song, I like it a lot. Again the audio quality is top class as usual, it can't be faulted, I'm generally very critical of these things, and I'm listening to this with headphones on. I have this story on the PackPack Toys version of Teddy Ruxpin, I personally think this tape sounds a lot clearer than the digital version.

Phil Baron jumps out of character in only a couple of songs... His regular singing/speaking voice is slightly deeper than what he normally uses for Teddy. Personally, I think it's a ton prettier!

@blueoctopede where can I still get a Teddy Ruxpin and Grubby? I used to have them as a kid but they got to old, I will say I'd like to see if I could them.. I'd love my son to have one!
@TheAngryAmericanwon Ebay is very trustworthy- you just have to find a good seller with 100% positive feedback. I use Ebay all the time, and haven't run into any snags so far. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get a Teddy and Grubby new (if you get one "new in the box" I can guarantee it will NOT work due to age) since they were discontinued in the very early 90's. Other versions of Teddy have been made, the latest went out of production in 2006, but none of them have a Grubby counterpart.

I had Teddy Ruxpin as a kid, but I would have rather had Grubby. I liked the books that came with it though.
