  • What a Legend. Thank you for uploading. Oh sweet memories... FANTASTIC!

  • Please provide the lyrics in Edo or English please.

  • WHAT DO THE WORDS MEAN, ANY ONE?

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwww, mennnnnnn am speachless

  • i love this song. it bring back the blessed memories of my late dad

  • This music remainds me of my childhood back home in Benin City, Nigeria.

A neighbour of ours next door, used to play it back in the 70s, i can still remember how i will always stay around his window anytime i hear him played it then.

Benin / Edo is great indeed !!!!

  • Without any knowledge of what Victor sings about cos I don`t understand the language, I fell for his songs as early as when I was in primary school. My dad is his big fan, though he also does not understand the language... funny huh? This song is bringing back memories as old as 18 years. Wow! Thanks for this upload!!!

  • omg, i never understood this song, but recently i start to grab the meaning. my mum use to sing this allllllllllllllllll the time. wow thanks.'

I am going to ask my dad to get it for me.

thank you for uploding this.,great Benin.

  • anytime i lisiten to this song i always cry, bcuz is so emotional.and bring back alot of old memories, thxs 4 posting,i am saying thxs 10000 times

  • This is probably Victor Uwaifo`s best track! I was still in the university back home when it was released. The instrumentation is a masterpiece, especially the flute played by Victor himself. I think the actual name of this track is Ekassa 27. It is just one of the Ekassa series, even though here it is referred to just as Ekassa on U-tube. However,it is 10 times "smoother" on vinyl/tape than as recorded here on U-tube. Finally,"kunwa-kunwa" means cloth in Edo language. Thank you.

  • @EnuBed

It is Ekassa 26. Great Song

  • @BUMPDOC Thank you very much for the correction. I miss Nigerian music so much in UK.
