You guys had pretty good DPS, but he was gaining Blood Power like crazy. That's the nature of the 25-man Beast, eh? ;)

When I was in the group that downed him, it felt like it took twice as long, and our Beast control was messy at best. Very fortunately we had some very good players taunting the Beasts back and forth between the melees and the ranged, across the traps, so the ping-pong effect allowed us more time to down them, and it STILL was barely enough a lot of the time.

Almost always our 3 rogues are on the top of dps meters with like 9-10 k dps with NO toc 25 hc gear and they are NOT the bestgeared people.

I dont want to judge your players but Regarding your rogues dps ive got one suggestion: SPEC MUTILATE. I've got a rogue myself and i did this fight later this week and I had 10k dps single target. Just bugs me that The best dps of all classes atm should be slaughtered like this.

rogues arent the best dps atm , elemental shamans are, and actually combat has the highest dps capability but mutilate is still really high, i play a rogue btw

Combat have more abilities for additional targets when mutilate totally crushes Combat rogues on single dps targets.

I hope you realize you need 1 combat rogue in the raid for 4% melee damage increase (Since Arms warriors are pretty terrible). Which is why the rogue in this raid is specced as such. Also he was incharge of fok crippling on the adds which hindered his DPS as well.

this fight is all about dps. the faster you burn him the lesser dmg you take.

these guys/girls got sick gear the best pre gear they can have thats way it seams so easy.

this is by far the hardest encount in ICC atm.

Ranged classes AoE the mobs when they spawn to pull them away from melee and tanks who may be dealing splash damage.

yes because aoe spells with 70% dmg reduction will pull off the melee much faster than single target you are right. if your ranged are not retarded than can split mobs by themselves and single target them down without a melee ever being hit.

I am going to refrain from throwing insults here, but yes it is a viable method used in nearly all succesful strategies. Although I realise it is a warlock in the video, I am going to use a boomkin as an example. They use hurricane to gain aggro on all the mobs, then use typhoon to knock them back. Giving more time to burn them without forcing rance to move from their assigned spots.
