Haha no I think you misunderstood! Im saying TIGHTEN the sleeve so it will stay on. If you sell somebody a trained german shepherd that rips the sleeve of a hoodie off and walks away.. That would be bad
My only qualm is that most of those dogs are show line dogs. Nobody should expect real protection out of a show line dog. Anybody with dog sense can chase off 95% of show line dogs with no equipment on and a LOT of bad guys have plenty of experience with dogs. Heck, even at the 4:23 mark you can tell the difference in intent and drive in the working line sable male there vs the show line dogs. Also you have females as protection dogs which is iffy at best. Show line females? More than iffy.
I think you need to tighten that cast. If the dog is ripping it off and walking away are they really learning to go for the right arm or the cast? In real situations the bad guuy wont wear a cast.
@bballpenguin16 It's a sleeve...how do you suggest we train a dog to bite with no sleeve? Pay a crackhead to let the dog bite him with no protection on?
if you own a german shepard, they are scary enough... i have a 8 month female 65 lbs,, single man.. I call her my door alarm.. Protection dogs are only for PROTECTION, NOT TRAINED ATTACK HOUSE DOGS
@austinrook1 Some people do, which is an okay idea in theory, but what if the bad guy purposely holds that hand high to strike the dog or to keep it away from the dog...then the dog stands there trying to get an arm out of reach instead of biting the guy in the inner thigh, which will cause enough pain that the badguy will probably drop what he has anyway.
Trained german shepherds are priced depending on extent of their training and age, yes I do have a female for sale. I am selling Anji, there are many videos of here from puppy on. Click on my user name to see her training. She will be 2 yr in September. vonjacobs . com contact me from my website if you are interested. Thanks
and im planning on heading into canine police servies lol, but its different when you have a puppy that you trained, rather then a adult dogs, that soo inteligent
Thanks and hope you enjoy canine police! Hey any dog will bond... hand feed him.. he will know where his food comes from... Good luck and thanks for being out there protecting us!
Great video, very well put together. Just another reason why I love being a part of this group. Too bad I couldn't have been there to make my showtime debut.

Don't you think you should train the dog to attack the hand that is holding the weapon so the "bad guy" can't hurt your dog, during attack mode?
austinrook1 1 year ago
@austinrook1 yah your are right, this is bad training
aDUBSTEPnation 11 months ago
@aDUBSTEPnation The training is actually just fine, it's the quality of dog that's an issue, most are show line dogs...
