  • very cool

  • @TF21999 Thank you!

  • If the former owner was the mayor of some town in Austria you can surely look him up and trace his family history down to his current descendants. Get in touch with them and send them some photos of their ancestor's gun!

  • @An0nEeMouse It's a little more involved here in the USA, but using a genealogy program may get me to the family where someone may know the where about of the sequential Mauser. Thanks for the tip! I'll be investigating for sure!

  • My Grandfathers "Broomhandle" was stolen from the Legion in Orillia Ontario a few years back. Serial # 697046. Anyone knows of it's whereabouts a reward will be paid. He returned from WW 1 with it!

  • Very sweet gun ! i own a 9mm mauser export made by mauser!

  • @oologahan Most believe it was because of the availability of the more popular 9mm Luger in WWII and the delusion that bigger is better. This one didn't get the typical LARGE Red 9 on the handles, which has some collectors curious. I would just like to get my hands on the sequential brother to mine. Cheers Buddy!!

  • its the most beautiful gun MY GOD I WANT A REAL ONE

  • @FuZaKe99 Be ready to drop some serious coin for one. Owners don't like to let loose of them due to their scarcity. The reason they are rare is because the majority were destroyed after the war. Only those smuggled back to the US and some others that were not turned in as requested still exist. It is definitely a work of functional art! Thanks for the comment!!

  • @ZippoVarga There are 50 of them for sale on gunbroker at any given time. One like this is less expensive as it has been re lined.

  • You really have to appreciate the engineering and workmanship in vintage Western European weaponry. SWEET

  • @GrincheyOne Thanks Buddy! It is a marvel.

  • holy SHHHHH crap yeah crap..lol thats soooooo awesome! Man oh man thats nice

  • @Mr5point56 lol....yep, what you said!!

  • ... myself, but know a good one when I see it. Typing on an iTouch isn't easy with fat fingers!

  • @mrwiggles2 I hear ya! I often reply to comments on my Android and mess them up just about every time! Great to hear from ya Mr Wiggles!!!

  • A real live piece of history. That is quite a gorgeous firearm, not into them my

  • That very nice . A lot of history .

  • @krazy45cat That there is my Friend. I've had it for nearly 20 years and hopefully will for another 20 or more. It will go to one of my Grandchildren. When I have some! lol

  • Thats really cool Zippo! My grandpa gave me his WWII M1 Carbine last night for a graduation present! took it out to range, man! thing is fun. Its been taken care of.

  • @fordwillkillyou That's an awesome Graduation gift! Best I've heard of! Enjoy good times Bro! You can never replace them. Cheers!!

  • @fordwillkillyou I would love to have an M1 by any means, but to receive one from your veteran grandfather is just too much. Congrats on your graduation, and tell your grand dad Thank You for his service. We are all indebted to that generation.

  • Thanks for the vid, Zip! Have you been holdin' out on us? Too bad you don't have the other consecutively numbered Mauser. I bet it's out there somewhere.

  • @depoeslew1 I would sacrifice my left gonad for the brother to this one I have. As far as holding out.......well....not really. There are a couple others that I haven't posted videos of, but they're common 20th Century arms like an Airweight S&W 38 snubbie, a S&W 9mm semi Auto that's currently at my Uncles, a Phoenix HP22 semi auto, couple of 2 shot derringers that I videoed a while back and a Ruger Vaquero 45LC full polish Stainless with imitation Ivory grips and my trusty Ruger 10/22 and MK3.

  • @ZippoVarga I can't wait!!

  • That is very cool bud! I like that

  • @mbyr31 It's also a blast to shoot Matt! Hope you and yours are doing well buddy!!!!

  • cool this gun would be classed as a antique firearm here in canada no license needed

  • @camerl2009 Yes, it's grandfathered almost everywhere, due to its age. Thanks!!

  • That gun is pretty cool. I love the history and that case is double duty neat.

  • @susanloveshuskies If I can just find the sequential Brother to it!!! It's in this County somewhere! But I don't dare make a public request for the owner of the other one to contact me. We'll just have to bump into one other or the set will forever be kept apart. Hope all is well in Horse/Husky Power land!!!

  • That is a beautiful gun and even the holster is of wood, you don't see that a lot, most of the the holsters today are of leather, that's cool.

  • @MagicCadillac Heya Mr. Cadillac! Good to hear from you my Friend! It is an odd one! Thanks!

  • nice gun, I have that same mat

  • @DanTheFordFixer You can almost lay out a Kentucky Long Rifle on it! lol.....it's huge! Thanks Bro!

  • Very cool, thanks for posting

  • @GunWebsites You bet Bro, thanks for the vid reply! Tagged you back.

  • Wow! That's really something! When I was a kid, I always hoped to get a replica of the 1896 (none firing) I ended up buying a P-08. I can't remember whatever happened to that thing. Thanks for the memories and sharing that beautiful piece of history! :)

  • @robbie574 Thanks for the step back in time my good Friend!!! Did you see they have a new 172 lumen LED MagLite like our XL100s? It's called the XL200 and has all the goodies of the XL100 with tons more light. It's on my GOTTA HAVE list!! lol...I hope you're doing well Brother!! Cheers!!

  • @ZippoVarga Just when you think you have the ultimate light they go and make a better one...Amazon has one left! I'm happy with th XL100. Thanks my friend! :)

  • very cool man.

Always liked this gun after seeing "The Great Silence" for the first time.

  • @JohnWayneColt45 Thanks Bro!! Where you been hiding your self??

  • @ZippoVarga caught up in the real world man...but I'm back to makin and watchin vids more often now!

  • that is way to cool

  • @23mrcowboys I'll see about getting a video up of me taking it to the range. Thing is accurate as can be and it's a pleasure to shoot. It may be over 100 years old, but it sure doesn't act like it!!

  • @ZippoVarga that would be great

  • Awesome pistol and history of it!!! I've always liked the "Broomhandle Mauser" Thanks for sharing!!

  • @GunznGear Heya Van! Thanks man! It is definitely a conversation piece! Hope all is well with you my good Friend!

  • Very nice. Not something you see evryday :)

  • @MyHollowpoint As the story goes, most of them were destroyed when the war ended. This one is a survivor! What I wouldn't give to get my hands on the sequential Brother to it though!! Cheers!!

  • super cool Zip....i love it man!

  • @1968hambone I just can't believe I have forgotten it all the years I've been on youtube! lol......Glad you liked it Bro!!
