I mean even though I AM a huge CEC fan, and not much of a Rock-afire fan, I can understand the feeling the RAE fans felt when they walked in and they saw the MMBB. Kind of like the feeling I experienced when "MY" 2-stage in Orange, CT, was ripped out and replaced with Studio C Beta. The Studio C wasn't even in the same spot as the 2-stage, instead the spot where the MMBB stood was replaced with a Barney ride and a Telletubbies ride. Sad that something so worthless replaced something so great. :(
Wow...look at how fluid and realistic their movements are. They're even in-sync with the music! Nowadays they just stand still, and when they move, they just kinda jerk around. It's too bad the 90's just sent CEC downhill, beginning with the extinction of Showbiz Pizza.
What are they spending their money on now I wonder? The animatronic in Studio C sucks, the pizza is still garbage, the games still barely work... so what's the money going towards?

Yes, there are still about 80 locations nationwide that still have thise 3 stage format. There is only 1 or 2 in the state of Florida that still have it. I think the one in Orlando and one in Pensacola and even one of those might be Studio C by now...

Because they didn't own The Rock-afire Explosion and they had tons of problems with the guy who does(Aaron Fechter). He was always wanting them to do this and that and threatening to sue. They tried to give his characters the chance but ultimetly they just wanted to cut him out of the business since he was a bit of a problem.
Watching the concept unification install videos made me feel a bit angry because I save about EVERYTHING that I own. And to hear the instructions to destroy all of that rare stuff made me boil. At least they could've returned the props and other things back to CEI.

If you watch the Rock-A-Fire Movie, he said he saw the RAE in cartoons and everything and when CEC offered to buy his characters they wanted to be in control of who the voice actors were and everything and because he saw such high potential in the RAE and other characters he refused, but look at him now. Where are his characters and where is he? They are fading out. I bet in hindsight he wishes he had gone with CEC, as do all the RAE fans but what can we do?

So essentially, (and I am looking at this from my side of the picture) if they did do anything, they either may have replaced Chuck E Cheese with Billy Bob or may have just added him to the band as a non-essential part. To me personally I think the RAE scripts gave them more character than do the current CEC scripts for MMBB.
Well yeah they've gone though so many different loosely based personalities...but I have to remember aside from Disney CEC's probably the longest running animatronic show and on a much lower budget than Disney so it's harder for them to retain the same voice acotrs and script writer for 20-30 years like Disney can... So with that you get different writers and various voice actors over time.... Kind of sucks but eh that's one thing the Rock-afire has held onto!
yea but I notice they use different masks now. They masks they use are two pieces and look like foam or something. These masks look like they are still mostly latex. They shoulda left the masks like this and brought up the PSI a little bit.
i grew up with this. this is exactly how i remember it in saginaw mich at about 1994 i beleive. i remember because i was deathly afraid of these things and wouldnt go into the showroom. that pizza cam scared me the most, it would randomly pop up and look at me. things that make ya go.........buhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
