Riverside Lyric Opera, (Riverside, California) will be performing "A Flowering Tree" November 2012 - west coast premiere - at the Culver Center of the Performing Arts.

@LRTeel1 Just FYI: The RLO production (one performance only) will be this Friday, November 11, 2011 (not 2012). The L.A. Phil did it two years ago, so this will not be a W.C. premier.

I know it's in the 2011/2012 Season at the Atlanta Symphony, which is why I'm trying to figure out whether I want to see it or not lol.

I saw Doctor Atomic and wasn't impressed at all

this, however, sounds like it might be better.

@agreatguy6 Yes it is different from DOCTOR ATOMIC and worth seeing. To me NIXON is my favorite.

Sounds more difficult than 'Rite of Spring'. Wonderful though. Wish I couls see it. Where are it's next productions??

Yup.. a very difficult chorus.. i remember how hard we worked to make it happen....
