@survivalman22 for a first time owner, a fire-belly is the easiest amphibian to care for. they do not require a lot of space (about 5 gallons for one), they don't eat too much, and are cheap (about 5 bucks)

Whoa whoa whoa, they need lots of humidity! Thasmts their biggest threat. They need very moist dirt. The air needs to have a humidity of 75%
