No she didnt.. She was recording music for another group and they hired another girl to lip sig her part.. Which Ms. Wash got back all her rights and royalty...

She has a nice voice. And she used a model girl that she can do lip-singing to her music. Her name is Katrina from England.

A trio, Mirko Limoni, Daniele Davoli, Valerio Semplici teamed up with the French Caribbean model Katrin Quinol (born Catherine Quinol) and formed the group Black Box. Katrin Quinol was on the album/single cover arts and supposed to be the lead singer in all of the group's music videos.
Martha Wash was engaged to vocally perform on a number of tracks.
Loleatta Holloway's "Love Sensation" was sampled and Katrin Quinol lip synced the lyrics... Allé! ☺
