It is Silver, also, the TIME IS BEING DISPLAYED. that can;' be changed on a cable box, dvr boxes always only say "PLAY" when watching shows. i know because i recently upgrade to a dvr box and was shipped a silver one. To see how a dvr box looks, just google "verizon dvr box" to see for yourself. (and if you watch in HD, you can se that their box is indeed a "verizon" box.)
