Also Rock is a diffrent genre than Rock 'n' Roll, Rock is Rock 'n' Roll's baby, so it's a mixed child and neither race can lay claim to it. No one holds the credit for first Rock 'n' Roll record, so jazz could have started rock 'n' roll with influnces from country, and vise versa. Rock is the product of a cultural collision that revolutized music.
