Wow Dr Paul was a lot more direct and firm in this spot, especially with that 'defend Israel' question. Loved his answer there hehe. He is usually a bit more reserved. I wish he would go on the offensive and attack more of them stooges in the debates, but it tends to not be his style because he is so respectful of people.

It took Ron Paul for me to stop despising Republicans, and politics as a whole. While I disagree with his personal opinions on many things, I agree with how he would handle them as president.

Murdoch admitted explicitly that Fox stumped for the war in Iraq--they are still agitating virtually continually for a war with Iran. Therefore, Paul is their enemy, because he is a powerful voice against the fearmongering--they have him on because they have to, and during that time, they try to make him look as bad as possible. O'Reilly succeeded--Megyn pitched some of the Iran propaganda, but she didn't.

I get so confused when I see news reporters occasionally treating Ron Paul fairly, it boggles my mind. Most of the time they ignore him, then they are critical of themselves for ignoring him. They treat him like shit in 4/5 interviews and then treat him fairly I don't understand.

@Pillowpants8495 They are starting to treat him more fairly for two reasons, first reason is they are starting to get SERIOUS backlash from the public who is starting to notice the intentional campagn against him. The second reason is because the GOP establishment is starting to realise he's the only one on their ticket who can beat Obama.

As a Democrat, I had respect for Dr. Paul. He is a Gentleman and presents himself with class & dignity. I lost that respect for Dr. Paul when I learned he, as an intern, watched a baby be cut from his/her mothers' belly, put in a bucket on the floor and put in a corner to die while they all watched. What prevented him from taking that LIVE, CRYING baby out of that trash can and walking a few steps over to the Intensive Care Unit and saving it? He's lost my respect.

Ron Paul witnessed that abortion in the early 1960's--when they were still illegal, except to save the life of the mother--no one was thinking about abortion then, not to mention that baby probably needed neonatal intensive care that may not even exist now, much less in the 60's. Finally, the reason you know this story is because Ron Paul *told it himself* in order to stand up for the unborn now.

@givebirthathome In order to be an OBGYN intern, one MUST be a successful Pre-Med student in college.He CERTAINLY was not "shocked" to see a VERY common hysterotomy performed. A hysterotomy is NOT an abortion, it was/is a VERY common (C-Section). performed even back in his younger years. What was Immoral/Illegal, was throwing that LIVE, CRYING baby into a trash can on the floor while they ALL watched him/her die that way. Paul could've saved that innocent life. He chose not to.

And I wasn't saying Paul was shocked by the blood--he was shocked to see others do such a thing. @thenewmike2012 I actually saw Ron Paul tell this story in one of the debates in 2008, to substantiate the claim that indeed late-term abortions are an issue, not just a "myth", as the pro-choice crowd often says, to diffuse concern about the issue. In fact, Rick Perry is running around "apologizing" for his usurpation of power that injured many young women ...now that he *has to* for political reasons, when reportedly last year he was still saying he made the right decision. Authority. Dr. Paul said he KNEW, as an intern, that letting that live baby be tossed into a trash can CRYING for HELP, was ILLEGAL. Yet he stood by and watched that horrific Murder happen in a hospital, in a room FULL of Dr.s and interns with the ICU just a few feet away. Theres no excuse for that.

He said he was appalled at what he witnessed. But if you dont like Paul for what you believe is an issue then there are lots of other candidates to choose from and you can even re-elect Obama.

As I said, even as a Dem, I had respect for Dr. Paul BEFORE I learned that he watched a live baby to tossed into a trash can to die while crying for help.
