  • I see your support for the rebels, but they would be better serving their country if they ousted the criminals in government and the courts, and got the military and police to side with them in enforcing fair distribution of oil wealth and production of goods (not oil) to maintain their economy and independence from foreign dependence. Cut oil production and charge the U.S. more in exchange for all the resources they've extorted.

  • niggers - doesnt matter where they are...they're all about getting a piece of your pie.

  • love the youths of today, Nigeria needs a revolution

  • Kill them. People like that just want money!

  • "What right has Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote and others have to take our oil while somebody from the oil community does not have the right to take it?" -------------- Asari Dokubo. Daily Independent Newspapers. Thursday June 25, 2009.

  • "It is a shame that the Interior Minister (Godwin Abbe) and his cohorts are offering bribes and incentives to militants in a desperate attempt to get our co-operation in sharing the N50 billion budgeted for the amnesty exercise." --- Jomo Gbomo, spokesman of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta(MEND). --- Daily Independent Newspapers. Thursday June 25, 2009.

  • Am so happy to see that the brothers are standing up for the the poor people in the delta i don't give a damn about the west they drive big cars why kids in the delta suffer fuck that keep fight until the oil money benefit the families in the delta.

  • @owiz22....say that to the dog n i guess u aint a nigerian

  • Please Watch with me "NIGERIAN MILITANTS UNDER FIRE" Oma Djebah @ 1:42 speaks bad english. Shame on NAIJA.

  • engineerpn- excellent point that is exactly what is going on and the all the puppet african leaders and politicians who work for european interest only should be shoot and removed and I love the militant groups that stop production and remind there corrupt government that the profits from oil coming out of african land should benefit the african people.

  • well ive been doing some research in a course I had to take in college about violence or terrorism I chose Nigeria because my father was working in the Niger delta and was under the pressure of the militants ... anw now he moved to Lagos but the thing is that the goverment is the problem by supporting foreign busineses and not supporting their own people ... look at Dubai, Qatar all this arab countries with good non-corrupted goverments how the people is livin a luxury life ova there !!

  • to compare nigeria to dubai etc is ridiculous. Nigeria is made up of 450 ethnic groups. The govt has no represenntative from the delta region. The people who run the show and those who are exploited are not the same people in language culture religion etc.

  • The ethnic groups in Nigeria are not up to 100. It is gowon's propaganda that took it up to 250. Even dialects were added as ethnicities and some groups added on the basis of political gerrymandering.

  • I watch these videos about oil problems in Nigeria and each time i do i become very ashamed to be a Nigerian. the best thing to do is to finish my MD and take all my family members abroad and away from that disappointment you call Nigeria

  • The peoples of the Federation of Biafra have resolved to actualize, renew, re-affirm and continue with the Declaration of Biafra Independence of May 30, 1967, with all the implications thereof. In re-affirming the independence of Biafra, the Peoples and Nation of Biafra make neither war, no peace, with the State or peoples of Nigeria, rather, we exercise a natural right, a popular right, a political right, and a right supported by United Nations Organisation Charter and International laws.

  • Militants and terrorist always seek to DESTROY rather than to use that energy to actually CONSTRUCT and BUILD something decent for their people. Just sad and pathetic! It's always easier to blame everyone else and destroy rather than make your situation better. Worthless waste of energy! They are too blind to see that they lose more and more respect and credibility the more they do this.

  • ajstryker, Your description fits the Nigerian government run for 48 years by the Hausa-fulani Islamic pogromists, Jihadist genocidists and their Yoruba Oligarchs like Olusegun Obasanjo. They have destroyed Nigeria in 48 years rather than build it. As evident there are no decent handiwork emanating from their corrupt and highly criminal leaderships. They have no respect nor credibility amongst people who embrace democracy, human rights as individual, social and environmental justice.

  • "..for centuries, the Niger Delta was literally a backwater of small subsistence communities, but since the discovery of Petroleum, the people's environment has been polluted and rendered useless...poverty increased and with it anger...as soon as the people became angry, they were branded as terrorists, as obstacles in the way of prosperity. And so they were hunted down." --- Former Ghanaian President, Jerry Rawlings in Portharcourt. Guardian Newspapers. Tuesday October 14, 2008.

  • My brothers and sisters in blood, we are all children of one mother. I always remaind myself this fact as to help me not hate my brothers but love. Our problem is white people and their government. we Africans can get around, develop our nation if white government is out of the equation. I cry every day because i work for the same people and government that is responsible for surfferings in Africa. we need a government that understand this. we need money to form a new government.

  • "The Yar'Adua government is similar in character to Omar Bashir's regime in Sudan, he wants to wipe out the indigenous population, and he cannot do it without help from a super power like Britain. The late Ken Saro Wiwa, remember him, renewed the campaign for environmental and political justice in the Niger Delta, but in 1995, he alongside eight others, were hanged and acid was poured on their bodies by the Nigerian State.." -- Liberty Forum , London. Guardian Newspapers. Thursday July 17, 2008.

  • the problem is not the oil companies. the problem is corrupt and divided Nigerian communities. Nigeria cant even beat Cameroon at Soccer. i suppose that is the oil companies fault as well ?

  • and there is no corruption and division rampant in your current location??

  • how dumm can u really get................

  • buhahhahahaha.

i guess i'm supposed to be hurt by that.

well that nigger stuff doesnt work on africans.

    fuck u asshole.

  • ur mama is stupid. for raising an ignorant pig like you.

    bitch.

  • buhahahhahahahaha

    dumbass pig.

  • fuck u bitch.

  • yOUR NAME SAID IT ALL.

  • The Okoloma Ikpangi. IBANI AWOME. BIG UP . We shall win. UP UP IJAW OTU

  • The Ijaw people and indeed all Niger Deltans should allowed 100% control over their oil.The process of stealing from weaker people by the most powerful north must stop.

  • Why do some of the rebels wear red clothing? Doesn't that make them an easily spotted target? Wouldn't camouflaged clothing be more appropriate? I guess they have nothing left to lose since a corrupt government and greedy oil companies have stolen the wealth from the rebel areas and left the people in abject poverty and without basic human needs. You might say that the oil boom is their oil doom!

  • Nigeria is 48 years and counting. It has been led by Hausa-fulani Islamic Jihadist genocidists along with their servile yoruba oligarchs like Olusegun Obasanjo. They had all elections rigged, all census rigged, refusal of a sovereign national conference, 400 billion dollars squandered, 62-year genocidal campaign against Biafrans. This country has been evidently run by cruel, heartless, corrupt, dictatorial administrations. Its ethnic nations are forcefully held with fear, violence and injustice.

  • "A man who chooses to fight monsters must see to it that in the process he does not become a monster, because one you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks right back into you"- Nietzsche ...... We have heard this crap before: RUF, FARC, etc .... who are we kidding ?? they are no freedom fighters ... In choosing to fight monsters MEND has become the most ruthless and senseless of all the monsters .. They are no better than the satanic government.

  • up up ijaw more grace to your elbow may God bless our people.
