Excellent. How old was Taddei at the time of this performance? He must have been well into his seventies.

That is a good question, I also have a video of Taddei singing in 1987 with Mariella Devia in Lucia di Lammermoor, it is amazing he was still singing this good so late.. and yet we hear very little about him.
