How the hell would Pinkie Pie be able to keep Rainbow Dash tied down and be able to go near her without getting kicked into next week? Pinkie Pie could overpower the others, but not Rainbow Dash or Applejack, they're the fastest, strongest, and most athletic. Even if they were tied down, they could break out or bitch-smack Pinkie if she even gets near them with a knife.

Here's how I see the ponies:

AJ: Abnormally strong.

RD: Super fast and amazing flyer.

PP: Ultra fast and predicts the future.

TS: Formidable magic.

RY: Decent magic + Martial arts.

FS: The Hulk. Usually harmless, but you won't like her when she's angry.

Be real here, nobody has any fghting prowess ther than Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Fluttershy (but she couldn't beat RD or AJ). When can Pinkie predict the future? Rarely, and it's the near future, not furthur events. Rarity knows martial arts? WTF? RD has a black belt! (cutie pox episoed I think)

As far as Pinkie goes, she has been consistently faster than Dash throughout the series, only to be confirmed by Dash herself in "Mare Do Well". She managed to save four times as many workers than Dash could in the same time span.

"She is quick AND can predict the future!", Dash says herself shortly after.

I have considered that Pinkie's speed was just a comedic gimmick too, but like I've said numerous times that notion was pretty much dismissed by the Mare Do Well episode. Pinkie's speed wasn't a comedic gimmick in that one, and that episode focused specifically on RD's capabilities, which gives it much more weight.

@TheFlammableGas Plus, I have yet to see Rainbow Dash outrun Pinkie, yet the opposite happens on numerous occasions. RD did the Sonic Rainboom, but that was a vertical drop with a gravitational pull that helped increase her momentum. We have yet to see her beat Pinkie on level ground.

I'm not trying to undermine RD, I love her just as much as the other ponies, and she is awesome. However people tend to undermine the other ponies in her favor, yet the show states itself that RD isn't superior.
