  • and if it's just a fold in the middle of the board? have I to break it and then do all the process?

  • How would i fix my fin system? the fins are FCS. But the front piece of the fin holder is cracked. How should i go about this?

  • Great video! Did you also glass the bottom of the board too? Aren't fish tails designed to flex? Seems like a series of hard turns might stress the bottom of the repair..no?

  • A piece of the nose of my board is broken should I put just some resin or what should i do thx

  • obrigado for such a nice video!!! i wanna fix my old surfboard so i've been looking on the web for tips on delamination. i've heard so far different names of resin: laminating resin, surfacing resin, hot coat, gloss coat. i wanted to ask you are all these just different names for the same stuff?

  • nice vid, you're good bro. How do I fix a delam?

  • Nice work, ive been doing repairs for 7 years now and im imrpessed. maybe i missed it, but was there any cloth lammed on the bottom? might be a little weak without it right?

  • Yes, I did place 2 layers of cloth on the bottom ( not shown on the video).

  • That is really nice work. I always thought you would put a wooden rod in between the two pieces for strength though. But I'm sure the several layers of cloth add enough strength.

  • how do i fix a big sun bubble on the front of my board

  • start by cuting off all loose fibers. scrape soft foam from area. With resin filler, place new foam. sand new foam bringging it to a hair below surface. sand 6 inches around the opening, making room for new fibers. Place new fibers. Hot coat , sand, level it, sand...color...paint...gloss...wet sand...polish....done....

  • hey that is an unbelivable repair job, unfortunetly i'm in the islands and getting all these machines and materials is very very hard, but one question i most know is what is q cell?!?!? is it just a powder of grinded foam?

  • q-cell is a very fine silica powder called cabosil. Its the best resin thickner you can find. Which island are you?

  • hey hello again, sorry for the late replay.

    a couple of questions :

1- i broke my fins , they are fcs. is there anyway i can remove the whole broken parts without a saw piece?

2- do you guys sell sanding resin?

  • awesome video, it doesn't even look like it was broken!

    congrats!
