Actually, the Bible never calls homosexuality a sin. The word "abomination" in Hebrew is "to'ebah" which means "ritually improper". The Hebrew word for "sin" is "zimah". So, when something is called an "abomination" in the Bible, all it means is that at the time under Hebrew social law it was "ritually improper".

I'm an LGBT ally at my university and I am planning on showing this to a group of students who will hear my presentation on the struggles and hardships that the LGBT community has been apart of. Don't listen to what the people below you say. I'm Jewish and I may be straight and I may not follow the bible as Catholics or Christians do but I do believe that we make our own path and being gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans sexual or heterosexual is not a decision. Actually, the Bible never calls homosexuality a sin. The word "abomination" in Hebrew is "to'ebah" which means "ritually improper". The Hebrew word for "sin" is "zimah". So, when something is called an "abomination" in the Bible, all it means is that at the time under Hebrew social law it was "ritually improper".

I'm an LGBT ally at my university and I am planning on showing this to a group of students who will hear my presentation on the struggles and hardships that the LGBT community has been apart of. Don't listen to what the people below you say. I'm Jewish and I may be straight and I may not follow the bible as Catholics or Christians do but I do believe that we make our own path and being gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans sexual or heterosexual is not a decision.
