is it better to use a partition to prevent actual mating before basketing for a race , or doesnt it make a difference if they do the deed before basketing? regards
hee hee --- i'm watching this and all i could hear in my head was 'hey baby-- hey sweet thing---what's your sign? come here often? whats your number?' all with 'stayin' alive' playing in the background.. --- it was like you opened the door on a nightclub in the seventies! maybe you should think about putting a little disco ball up in there.... hahahahaa! trooper and freya would SO come visit!! xoxoxoxo lizz
hey how can u tell young birds if its a male or female because i just bought one and the guy that i bought it from said that it was a male but it looks like a female to me so can u plz help me
Are you crazy those birds are plenty motivated, do you think that after mating they lose the incentive to home? Wrong, the will to home is even greater when on eggs or returning to young! Yes there are plenty of tricks to racing but I don't believe in just teasing birds to home! The love of mate and home is more important IMHO!
Each to their own but I personally and everyone I know would never let the cocks tred the hens and uld lock the hens up for the cocks to boo next to but not actuall touch. Wheres the incentive to come home when they have already mated with the hens. Think about it.
Very hot stocks for the very neat nice nests. Sir a have a Question to ask. How many times will I use cod liver oil in my racing pigeons and the proper measurement when mixing with grains? Thank you may your winning ways continue!
hi, bird lady nice birds,,, where are you located, are you selling some of your homers, im been looking for a good bloodline in a affordable price i lived in LA,california, if you have any info where i could get,but closed to wher i lived,,, hooked me up!!! thanks
If Tumblers are chickens they belong in a coop. I just got back from Europe (Portugal), and visited many "Lofts" with racers and "Tumblers". My Mother-in Law and every one else has chickens in their back yard "Coops" as they call them that.
wow this is what you call racing pigeon, they love there place. and also your going to get youngs from them all pretty soon, around the same time too. that going to be pretty cool, i hope to become a racing pigeon and build a coop just like this one. loving it
hey i liked the video and i wanna get into the sport again i used to race pigeons back in my country and now i want to do it agin here in the U.S where can i get a pair of young birds or a pair of breeders.. thanx

Outstanding show of Widowhood....To all the rookies, Coops are for chickens, Lofts are for Purebred Racing Homers.

Well a loft is for pigeon's whether you race them or not is beside the point. Do you keep tumblers in a coop or a loft?
