does anyone know what the name of the song is when ezio is in a cutscene, and he ends the mob @ the end of bonfire of the vanities? it has a lotta piano in it
Well yes, that place was next to useless in the plotline, seems to me that they already made it,when they figured out that they can't do make the player do much in that place in terms of plotline.
This track fits the AC world perfectly. The world is an illusion, twisted and warped. Knowledge of this is held by but a few. The Templars, The Plague.
these sound tracks bring a tear to my eye.. from remembering the story of assasins creed.. to the actual tones of music.. and the meaning behind it.. so powerful and intense.. amazing.. i want a link to buy the cds if its available for the music
since i study ancient relics and such because im a philosiphy and history major. When i went through the swamp areas of italy and i played this song and it truly scared me but made feel as though i had just met god or something. Its so siniter in a good way if you know what i mean.

I love that atmospheric soundtrack in AC 2! Especially this song. You can really easily imagine those dark times, the plague and the despair of people, when listening that song.

I <3 The Assassins!
[In Italian:]
Wow strano ma fantastico! rilassante quando si r a letto con esso pieno volume: P
@COWCLAN1000 It WAS the shit hole of Italy, because today it's not like five hundred years ago. I live in Romagna, so I know. There are not swamps here anymore.
I found it really weird when, from the other side of Forli, I heard Leonardo saying "Over here, Ezio!", but it sounded echoey, and I couldn't tell who it was, or where it was coming from. XD
This is awesome soundtrack. When I'm listening this and walk trough all people, who don't understand, that Templars exist and want controll them... And we are one, small assassin, who stopped them all. Psycho.
This sone is quiet the creepy one, the reverse sounds and the eerie voice of the woman singing, sends a cold striking chill down through the players spine while they pass through the dreary and dirty streets of Forli. It fits just perfectly!
@Safiyahalishah No it's like a dramatic neutral piece that plays when your in the fort. I can't describe it but next time your in Forli listen out for it.
Bubonic Plague scares the crap out of me, and in assassins creed, Forli scared the crap out of me, because it had that black death feeling, the doctors, the bubonic plague and the darkness of the map, plus this song... wow
ok so there is another happier version of the part that starts at 0:24 and it usually plays when your running around the city and outside of venice and stuff, does anyone know what it is?
@dalekdude180 It was to go with forli its in ruins outside of the city its always dark and its flooded in reality they always seemed to have war based disastors or natural in the 14th century there was something called the black plague.
This is seriously the creepiest song ever played in Video Game History. I have so many images of like December 21st 2012, the Illuminati, or something else extremely conspiratorial.
@omgwtfbbq6666 If you want a track that sounds even creepier, just listen to "Meditation of an Assassin" from the first Assassin's Creed OST. That music gives one shivers when listening to it during the night.
... But the truth is different. According to texts that have come down to us from Alamut, Hassan-i Sabbah liked to call his disciples Asasiyun, meaning people who are faithful to the Asās, meaning "foundation" of the faith. This is the word, misunderstood by foreign travelers, that seemed similar to "hashish"
You are mistaking, they were not called so because of smoking Hashish, but because their contemporaries in the Muslim world would call them hash-ishiyun, "hashish-smokers"; some orientalists thought that this was the origin of the word "assassin", which in many European languages was more terrifying yet. ...
I`ve asked my friends whether they know who the assassins actually were and they had no idea. The assassins belonged to a special groupe of arabs who first started in Cairo (Egypt). In arabic they were called Al Hashashin which comes from Hashish. They were called so because they smoked Hashish to "get nearer to god" xD.Well anyways they were fierce fighters and assassinators and were known through out the arab world.Their first victim though was a Caliph in Iraq.
@DutchPsycho310 Natually you would not find an Assassin's Creed Soundtack on your local dealer shelves, as it is not mainstream. However, you may want to look at their website for further details on getting your hands on a copy.
this reminds me of Ezio's bro, lil bro and his dads death, these tracks are way tew wonderful, yes ive been to several parts of italy after playin ac2, every time when i go there, i always think about this game
I love this song. It's so dark and gloomy, like they made out Romagna and Forli to be. When you hear the song in the game, and it's sort of quiet, it's no big deal. But when you turn it way up it's damn creepy, especially that part around 1:14 that sounds sort of like it's reversed.
An Easter Egg (a scene when you sit down and talk with Leonardo at one of the designated spots to talk to him, which you can do regardless if you can't buy anymore items) in AC:B implies that Leonardo is gay. (Which I don't really get why its such a big issue. Lol.)
They made him gay because he most likely was in real life. He gave nearly all his stuff when he died to his "favorite student", who was real young at the time (1519)
@ValetinoLovebird Well, you know how when Leonardo places his hand on your shoulder, and you have the choice to put yours on his as well? I think that had something to do with it...But in all honesty they're good friends, xD I don't think anything more...Plus, i think it's inspiring that one of the most well known inventors of all time could have been gay centuries before it became a well known matter.
@arterialshadow I'd like to think that men weren't so screwed up in the head when it came to close bonds and genuine love and friendship way back in the past, where as today, you hug a guy out of genuine friendship and love who is outside of your family. You're ridiculed as some butt pirate.

I once got this one stuck in my head for a week, it sends chills up your spine and makes you feel intimidated.

This level felt like Sleepy Hollow under the moonlight. I really enjoyed running around in the swampy areas, half expecting the headless horseman to come galloping in so I could butcher HIM.
lol, you really feel empowered when you play as characters like Ezio in areas like this.
