@HUJUism Uh... No it isn't. The church has no say. While they can "conduct" the "wedding", so can a judge. The Marriage licence comes from the STATE, not the church, the minister, like the judge is able to sign off on it.
Marriage is currently a STATE ISSUE. Now the federal government is trying to mandate
