But if someone comes and pays your fine for you, the judge will let you free.

The word "Lord" simply means "Owner". So when you Confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" you are saying that Jesus owns you. In other words you are giving yourself to Jesus. Then you need to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and you shall be saved the Bible says.
So, Salvation is giving yourself and everything you own to Jesus and living for him to the best of your ability. And believing that God raised him from the dead

So when you give your life to him, He will give it back to you. Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel's sake, but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.
So when you give everything to the Lord, he gives it all back to you 100 fold! So there is no doubt that giving your life to the lord has benefits. Living for God is so much fun for me. Every new day is a new adventure! It's the most fun I've had in a long time. You simply have to live it and Love it. Give your life to the Lord, It will be the best thing you'll ever do.
Jesus said " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
So I say, get your Bible and read it and fall in Love with God. God is a kind and merciful loving person. Read the new testament first and then focus on what Jesus has to say and do it to the best you can.
Forget about yourself and begin to pray for others. Pray for those people who are sick and people who need help. Pray for your friends and family to get saved. If you see someone in need, help them expecting nothing in return. Be unselfish in everything you do. When you do this, people will begin to take note of it and will think you are crazy which is good because then you know you are on the right track. HAHA! Remember that sin is a result of selfishness. Love is a result of Unselfishness.
Remember that selfishness is the root of every persons problems. Selfishness is what caused Eve to eat the fruit in the Garden of Eden. The snake told her she would be like God if she ate it. So she selfishly ate it thinking it would make her like God. Selfishness is what makes people want to steal and kill and rape and lie and commit adultery and covet their neighbors stuff or wife. All sin comes from selfishness. So being unselfish you cannot sin.
I also want to add that Adam and Eve ate of the "Tree of the knowlege of good and evil" So before they ate it, they were innocent in that they did not know the difference between good and evil until after they ate the fruit that gave them the knowlege of good and evil. Once they ate, they became self aware and realized they were naked. Now every person on earth is self aware and realize the evil that is in our minds because we now know good and evil and have no excuse for the evil we do.
That is why Jesus lived a completely unselfish life and sacrificed himself on the cross. Because we could not do it ourselves. We all fall short of perfection. But Jesus did not. He was perfect and spotless before God so God accepted him as our payment. He died so we could live!

You are basically saying or surrendering yourself "Mind Will and Emotions" and everything you own to God and saying that you are His. It's not just believing Jesus is God. You must give Your Entire Life to Him.

So when you give your life to him, He will give it back to you. Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel's sake, but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.

So when you give everything to the Lord, he gives it all back to you 100 fold! So there is no doubt that giving your life to the lord has benefits. Living for God is so much fun for me. Every new day is a new adventure! It's the most fun I've had in a long time. You simply have to live it and Love it. Give your life to the Lord, It will be the best thing you'll ever do.

Jesus said " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
So I say, get your Bible and read it and fall in Love with God. God is a kind and merciful loving person. Read the new testament first and then focus on what Jesus has to say and do it to the best you can.

Forget about yourself and begin to pray for others. Pray for those people who are sick and people who need help. Pray for your friends and family to get saved. If you see someone in need, help them expecting nothing in return. Be unselfish in everything you do. When you do this, people will begin to take note of it and will think you are crazy which is good because then you know you are on the right track. HAHA! Remember that sin is a result of selfishness. Love is a result of Unselfishness.

Remember that selfishness is the root of every persons problems. Selfishness is what caused Eve to eat the fruit in the Garden of Eden. The snake told her she would be like God if she ate it. So she selfishly ate it thinking it would make her like God. Selfishness is what makes people want to steal and kill and rape and lie and commit adultery and covet their neighbors stuff or wife. All sin comes from selfishness. So being unselfish you cannot sin.

I also want to add that Adam and Eve ate of the "Tree of the knowlege of good and evil" So before they ate it, they were innocent in that they did not know the difference between good and evil until after they ate the fruit that gave them the knowlege of good and evil. Once they ate, they became self aware and realized they were naked. Now every person on earth is self aware and realize the evil that is in our minds because we now know good and evil and have no excuse for the evil we do.

That is why Jesus lived a completely unselfish life and sacrificed himself on the cross. Because we could not do it ourselves. We all fall short of perfection. But Jesus did not. He was perfect and spotless before God so God accepted him as our payment. He died so we could live!
