Try to think for a moment on how a deaf dj could produce music without hearing it. He can feel it, he can see it. He understand the dept and magnitude a sound can make by looking at it's soundwave or whatever through an oscilloscope or a tuner or sumthing. When your soo good at something like cooking, u just can tell the ingredients will be good togheter cuz u can already imagine the taste. Same for music, he could image the sound in his head.
