Can these really drive at 78 rpm??...I can almost picture what JUKEBOXDUDE says but I thought the flight off should happen at the beginning of a 78 rpm for the bigger circle ?...mmm..makes me wonder.

Did anybody ever interviewed the guy who invented this ?. I imagine there must have been a mass of record lovers armed with sticks and stones after him once LOL !
