Thanks for watching! I would miss it too if I had once lived there. I've been back about 5 times now and never tire of its beauty, the fun people, the buildings, things to do, and so on.
It didn't impact us, but it did make us more aware to be careful where we walked at night and where we parked our car. Our family has been robbed at gunpoint from an affluent suburb on the outskirts of the city and others we know have been attacked and robbed, one with a neighbor killed. Security is a must-have for homeowners there: high walls, electrified fencing, and security guards you can trust. BUT with that said, it is the most beautiful place to visit and fine with precautions taken.
