@adidas1984x Just finished doing some re-arranging in the room, added more posters and displays that were stored... lots of dusting and cleaning done.. took 3 weeks to do! Getting ready to do another video! The YouTube buttheads muted the video with the DKC soundtrack, (I don't know why) it sucks without the music, so I removed it. :-(
@Yesterdays92 removed the music thats crazy , cant wait to see the new video your room is awesome I wish I could come visit and relieve the memories of the 90s
Listening to the All Gen Gamers podcast where you were a guest, and decided to pause it like Pete suggested and watch this video. I'm amazed. This collection isn't just impressive, I mean, it's not just the amount of stuff you have, but how it's presented....and that carpeting!
@vintagevideogamegeek It is an original IMAGIC Atari videogame store display. It is a demo game player to try Atari games. The Yesterdays "picture" is a cutout of a cupon from the mall newspaper/flyer. Thank You for the compliments! :-)
Oh my God. I heard about this on All Gen Gamers and I had to see it for myself. Holy God almighty. This is Wonderland x the North Pole + Heaven. I just can't even
This is INSANELY awesome! Your collection is not only huge, but it's also very diverse and well set up. I saw the whole video and am blown away by it! You've got a ton of rare Sonic merchandise and I love that oldschool Kirby plush you have!
If you don't mind me asking, how much was that carpet In your game room, because I plan on putting that kind of carpet In my game room and great job on All Gen Gamers!
This is obviously one of the greatest game rooms ever created! You did just a fantastic job. It was cool listening to you on the AllGenGamers podcast too!
Amazing dude! I originally saw your collection on G4TV back when it first aired, and then I was amazed. But now all of these years later, hearing you on the All Gen Gamers podcast I had to see it again. I have to say G4 really didn't do this work of art any justice. They barely skimmed the surface. This video really shows what went into this personal museum. Wonder! So glad to have seen it again. And you one have a new subscriber! :)
argh, i used to have that big sonic 3 board.. dunno where it ended up. much respect for your gaming room, true gamers heaven & inspiring! a great sign of culture, respect from amsterdam!
Dude, thank all gen gamers for me finding you... All I can say is: "if Heaven has a games room, then they must have copied it from yours", its singularly the greatest games room I've seen outside of 90's small game shops! YOU ROCK!
@Yesterdays92 The same circumstance as the guy above about hearing on the podcast but id probably say if heaven has a games room then it aspires to be yours
There is nothing that I can say to give this justice. It's a brilliant collection, from the carpet, to the games, the posters (I would KILL to have that NiGHTS poster), the arcade cabinets, and all the collectables. It's a fascinating game room, and I would be so proud of it.
This is the place I had always dreamed of having as a kid, and to see that it actually exists is just surreal. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. :D
i only found this video by stumbling across it but im glad i did! its like a mini museum! do you get many requests from people asking to come and see it?
This is by far the best game/collections room I have seen on youtube. I discovered your channel from the All Gen Gamer podcast. It was really cool to listen to all the stories of you obtaining your collectables over the years. I am looking forward to the high resolution video of the room tour. Happy Collecting!
Did you work for a few gaming stores? You must of been a manager for the retailer! I love the room! I could just sit in there for hours. It's a piece of the nineties frozen in time. Thank you for showing us.
@adidas1984x Hello, Thank You! :-) I've been collecting since 1991... Don't really like to talk about the money side of the collection, It is insured for a crazy ammount of coverage, although it would be almost inpossible to find many of the items in my collection in the event of a disaster.
great room, Makes me wish I had the room to display my collectibles the right way. BTW, how did you manage to get the sign from Yesterdays? I remember when it changed to Power Play and always thought it was down hill from there, even if it did have more games, the atmosphere wasn't the same.
@mkhokett The Power Play game room is still owned by the original Yesterdays people... I contacted them in 2006, hoping somehow they would have the sign. Long story short, They had it.... under a pile of junk in a warehouse in Mississippi! I drove there and they let me have the sign.. The owners were thrilled that someone actually remembered Yesterdays. I spent a few months restoring the sign from a pile of rust! Now, This part Of The San Jacinto Mall will live on forever with me! :-)
@Yesterdays92 that's great, (wish I'd thought of it :)). I never knew the same people owed it either. I think they would be surprised, just how many of us have fond memories of Yesterdays.
@Yesterdays92 Man I remember Yesterdays when I was a kid and San Jacinto. Walked by it a thousand times,,,,,,,amazing you found the people that owned it and still had it wow! Thats just to cool. My parents still live near Baytown,,,,,,makes me sad when I drive by the mall on the way to see them seeing the parking lot empty,,,,,heard its pretty run down inside. Had a lot of Dates at the mall going to the movies and stuff. Good Memories thanks for sharing.
This is BY FAR the B E S T video game collection I have EVER seen PERIOD! I'm not kidding, I watched the whole video from start to finish. All my friends thought my collection was big... but MAN!
ha nice mame cab i see with hyperspin. i was setting my old computer up for that but i decieded to wait. until i move out and get a newcomp since i am a senior in high school. damn i miss the 90's i remember all this shit especially the n64 displays. i definitly believe the 90's was and will always be the best decade for gaming.
Saw your segment on X-Play too. How did they find out about you? I thought my game room was pretty cool, mostly due to the lone arcade machine (Ms. Pac-Man, found it in the garbage behind a bar) but you've shown me I have a lot of work to do!
How did you get all your old displays? Did you used to work at a game store? How can you afford all this stuff?! Great job! You should design game rooms for a living.
@Nintendjon Back in the day (the '90s) I used to go to all my local stores on a regular basis and ask for the displays, especially when I wanted the displays for my current favorite game, If one store said no...another would say yes! Today it's nearly impossible, there are no more videogame departments at stores... and if their are, they suck... just a cabinet in the corner with no displays. The only stores left are Game Stop, and those buttheads keep everything or sell it on eBay!
Seriously watching this video makes me want to cry! I respect you for remembering this era of classic video gaming. I know it sounds crazy but this room of your means a lot to me! Would is be possible to send me the pictures in your beginning slide show? It's hard to really see the pics in 480p video. I have a couple of questions...
@5:51 what is this framed Sonic and Knuckles plaque?
@0:16 where did you find the large Sonix Xtreme figure?
I absolutely have to have that NiGHTS moon and NiGHT hanging display from your ceiling at 3:19 !!!
Thank you for making this video and having such an amazing collection! If you ever want to start charging for tours I'll be your first customer!!! I would feel like a child walking through Disney World for my first time in that room!
The Sonic And Knuckles is a promotional poster from Bubble Yum offering 10.00 off with purchase of gum.
Yes, Knuckles Chaotix is playing on a custom Sonic The Hedgehog Arcade game I made.
The Nights 3D flicker display came from a mall directory display station..,.. Very lucky to get this. Send me your email via private message and I'll share them with you! :-)

Mine are...
Favorite: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (first video game I ever played)
Best: Sonic 3 & Knuckles (need I say more?)
