Tried my Dreamcast the other day and it fails to read any disc properly. I can barely make it to the intro screen :(

I think this game has the right to be called a classic. It newer gets old. If a guy (not knowing anything about it) plays it, he would think this is a new game (few years old). The graphics are great and the sounds are better. It was one of the worlds best games in that time when it was brand new! Love it, can't stop playing it.

Its really not that good - I love this genre of games but I only seem to enjoy the Baldurs Gate style games made by Snowblind Studios (Baldurs 1 and 2, Champions of Norrath 1 and 2).. This game looks great though! I played Sacred 2 & found the play area to be too limited. You feel you are cramped even when outside - if Oblivion can give you freedom in full 3D why not Sacred 2 in 2D? Also there were WAY too many weapons - there was no feeling of achievment in leveling up. Poor characters too.

If you love games like Record of Lodoss War, then I would personally recommend DIABLO (Blizzard Entertainment, 1997), DIABLO II (Blizzard Entertainment, 2000), NOX (Westwood Studios, 2000), THRONE OF DARKNESS (Click Entertainment, 2001), TITAN QUEST (Iron Lore Entertainment, 2006) and soon to be released DIABLO III (Blizzard Entertainment, 2009/2010).

If you have enough money... Just get them all... You'll be happy for a long while. :)

This game was amazing. This was one of the best titles that the Dreamcast released.

Great graphics, great story, great gameplay....you can't ask for much more.....except: I wish that Sega hadn't kept making lame marketing and investment moves that led to saw the Dreamcast as their last, and best, console :-(

I still love Sega, though. Genesis and Dreamcast......I have carpal tunnel because of you two :-)

First (and last) time I finished that game I was so pissed.

I missed the chance to get an agility ancient for a shield, that cloak that silences footsteps, and that green dragon never gave me items when the FAQ said he would.

Other than that it was an ok game....just hated that last stage though.

I've just started playing this again using nullDC 1.0.3 Dreamcast emulator for PC. It's even better than playing it on a DC - 1600x1200! Full speed!

It's still a fricking awesome game. One of the most underated games in the history of video games.

awesome game burnt it to CD-R kept me up for 52 hours just to beat it towards the end my hands trembeled my vison was fuckt up I was stoned and sweating bullets but when I beat that game it was orgasmic. 5 Stars
