you can play the single player campaign on halo ce, you have new weapons and weapons from halo 2 in it, and almost all the original weapons have been modded in some way. there's a tutorial on how to make it work at halomods.

I didn't have much control over the voice actors - I just wrote the script and filmed the game shots a few times, and the project took so long (there were many setbacks, i.e. people forgetting to bring their laptops, the recording room being locked, holidays, etc.) that by the time we actually got to the recording room and recorded, it was the last day of the class so we had no time to fix it. Sorry, but you can't really expect GameTrailers quality from a handful of 13 year olds.

Well they already served like a few tens of terabytes of downloads, and the whole HCE community sources from their site, so it'd be logical that halomaps would have bandwidth strains.

If you get a mod chip you can mod maps (but I don't recommend doing it on Xbox Live, it will get you banned). However you can also hook up the original Xbox (don't know about the 360) to a computer and use editing tools to mess around with the tags and change properties. But making new maps completely is extremely hard to do with an Xbox. I suggest getting Halo CE, and the Halo 2 for Vista even has editing tools included in the package!

The gun at 2:37 is the MA5K Assault Carbine that was mentioned in some of the Halo novels, and it's included in the map called CMT_v2_Fragment (just search for "Fragment" on halomaps dot org). You can also download a utility called HalothirdFOV from halomaps dot org which lets you use third person view.

The point of Halo PC is for you to play the single player and multiplayer with normal maps.

The point of Custom Edition is to allow you to download and play custom user-created maps that have new environments, vehicles, weapons, biped models, etc. My point being, PC is for single player and OK multiplayer, CE is for amazing single player and amazing multiplayer.

1. Start Menu > All Programs > Microsoft Games > Halo Custom Edition > Halo Custom Edition Developer Mode

When you're in developer mode you can't join any games, but you can create a LAN game that other people in your house can join.

2. Press "~" to open the console and type in cheat_super_jump 1 and press enter. To deactivate it type in cheat_super_jump 0. There are other cheats like cheat_deathless_player, cheat_all_vehicles, cheat_all_weapons, cheat_bottomless_clip, cheat_infinite_ammo

You have to have the same map as the host in order to play, so I suggest downloading the popular ones. There are still the default maps that many people play on.

You can go to halomaps dot org and download maps. When you do, just extract the map file inside into the maps folder inside your game folder. It's easy, it's fast, and it's really fun.

You can get the custom edition at halomaps dot org - they also have all the custom maps for CE! However, you need the original Halo PC disk and product key to install and run the game. But I suggest getting it, it's awesome!
