@TheDreamer99883 aw...it's not mean. lol. she doesn't mind being a bit off, or being called drunk kitty. before we thought of her name, we were calling her wobbly girl as a kitten. lol she didn't mind then, either.
the cat isn't drunk it just had a visit to the vet and the affects of the medicine are still affecting it. the cat isn't stupid or dumb its just medicine don't worry about the cat
@XxMaDDoGGxX210Xx -actually, you are incorrect. it is not medicine, and she IS like this all the time. you are right about one thing, though, which is to not worry about her.
@KaTieZCrAZyCasTZ my name is not Jesus might want to reread your post and someone already told me. I saw some videos like this they all just came from the vet cause the Anastasia that's why i thought the cat just came from the vet
OK I did not know it was not realy drunk and SO so badly sary about my comment I LOVE CATS AND NOW KNOW YOU ARNT GETING DRUNK WITH YOUR CAT. COOL CAT. I LIKE THIS VIDEO!!! LOL
@jamesv528 what does being a pothead have to do with anything? oh, wait, maybe it caused you to miss the obvious...i mean, what exactly is 'not cool' about a cat with a disorder walking?
My dog acted like this after my new years party. I almost went apeshit because I thought she ate my jello shooters somehow , but she was just dehydrated.
Patients with cerebellar hypoplasia may show mild ataxia, complete lack of coordination, inability to maintain posture, hypotonia or spasticity, seizures, nystagmus (involuntary movements with eyes), a phenomenon of rejection (patient's inability to adapt quickly to changes muscle tension), clonus (involuntary muscle contractions), balance disorders and hydrocephalus (in most cases).
The cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is a congenital defect of the central nervous system that has the following characteristics: decrease the rate of cell proliferation in the cerebellum, making it smaller and lighter than normal change in a particular area of the cerebellum (as vermis or cerebellar hemispheres). The cerebellar vermis is located in the central region of the cerebellum and is responsible for balance, posture and gait, while the cerebellar hemispheres are related to motor coordination.
@Icandrum2 it means she was born with an underdeveloped cerebellum, which also happens to be the part that controls your motor function and such. nobody knows how cats get this, but they're born with it, and it's thought to be from a virus that the mother cat carries and passes on to the kittens while they're still developing. She was a stray, the mother, so her history is unknown.
According to Wiki: Cerebellar hypoplasia is a disorder found in cats and dogs in which the cerebellum is not completely mature at birth. Usually symptoms of cerebellar hypoplasia can be seen immediately at birth in cats. Cerebellar hypoplasia causes jerky movements, tremors and generally uncoordinated motion. The animal often falls down and has trouble walking. Tremors increase when the animal is excited and subside when at ease.
I don't see why people are so easily offended yet it clearly states in the description that the cat has cerebellar hypoplasia. I think this is a cute video, and for god sakes people, its not like the cat is being abused here, get a sense of humor or don't comment, it's just that simple .
@TheDczoom oh, get over it. i seriously doubt that anyone with the ability to send me to hell is going to care if a video is named 'drunk kitty'. get a sense of humor and grow up. in the mean time, open your eyes to what is obvious. the cat doesn't care what she's called. she's happy and fun-loving, just the way she is. too bad you can't see that. maybe YOU'LL go to hell for THAT?!
@tacoinblanket actually, she does have a brain defect. It's called Cerebellar Hypoplasia and she was born with it. No chest hits needed whatsoever to make her do this. This is just how she is, all the time.
Here, I'll write one for the next video you comment on for you:
"You are a terrible person for (insert any action whatsoever here) this poor kitty. This cat clearly (insert obvious information which the creator of the video has already addressed here) and I enjoy being condescending in matters I know nothing about."
@tianakamstra1999 learn to read retard!!!!!! in the description box! this cat was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, not going to explain it, but you can see what it does to a cat, btw take some English lessons, took a min to decipher your comment
Cute kitty. Sorry to hear she has a neurological problem. Glad that she (& her brother) were born to an owner that didn't think they needed to be put down. Its good to know that there are others out there that won't put an animal down simply for them having a problem they couldn't help. I had a special needs bunny (he had nerve damage caused by either careless owners or abuse) & while I was told to put him down, I gave him the love & care he needed until his nerve damage started causing pain.
I have a CH kittie too and He is the best. Do they get stronger at walking/climbing as they get older or is this a WYSIWYG sort of thing at a young age? My cat is about 4 months old? I can never remember. But he loves snuggling and chasing my other cat. I'd recommend anyone to get a CH cat; you will love them to death.
@satnightride they are very sweet cats, aren't they? i don't know what WYSIWYG means, but mine did get stronger with age. she's around 5 yrs old now, but is small, about the size of a 12 wk old kitten. she is, however, all muscle. there is not an ounce of fat on her, because she uses her muscles to move around so much more than other cats. her ability to stand and walk never really improved, but physically, she got stronger, yes. when mine was younger, she loved chasing jingle balls. lol
@MAMAMACHINE -well, other than the CH she isn't unhealthy. as far as i know, she has normal life expectancy! as a matter of fact, somebody on here told me they had a CH cat that lived to 19 years! so, with no accidents to shorten her life, we expect a full, many years to come with her! :) thanks for your other comments, too! :)
RETARDS NEED TO READ THE FUCKING DESCRIPTION!!! THE OWNER OF THIS CAT IS NOT!!! I REPEAT NOT!!! CRUEL! Infact, he has done the kindest thing that I could expect of someone, which is take this cat in even with her condition. Thanks crazedweazels, she is gorgeous!!
@RichieW1952 u must get stoned with ur grandma or somtin because its probaly dizzy i dont know who would give there cat b33r. reported to the police my ass.
@TripleMoon22- wow, even better, you wish death on people due to the titles of their videos? and here I thought you might have been a rational, intelligent person. because it's completely sane to curse people out and wish them harm when you think something is stupid.
@crazedweazels there are people who get hit by trucks and live, he never said anything about death. and you shouldn't post misleading titles it tends to piss people off. obviously
@dowmejoh -right, because when you say you want someone to be hit by a truck, you just wish them injury, not death. also, people who go off the deep end so strongly over the title of a video on youtube are not "pissed off". that was not a reasonable reaction to something as minor as the title of the video. and it's only misleading if you don't read further, especially this video where the description is so clear. it's very sad they react in that manner without trying to figure things out first.
Reminds me of when I take a feather and spin in circles around my cats until they start spinning really fast for like a minute then stop. They are so dizzy they can't walk straight but they come back for more.
@DviRaciai -yes, she was born with a disorder. but she is fine. she doesn't know any different, and never has. she has no other issues with her health, is perfectly healthy otherwise, actually. so yeah, she is fine. happy, playful, affectionate, and curious. just like a "regular" cat.
@DviRaciai - I was born with a disorder. Am I not fine? Same goes for many people I know. Disorders come in all kinds and aren't always life threatening.
Too bad you cat has that disease :( but hey cats can get drunk rlly. I have a friend who has a cat called Narco, and believe me the name is well chosen. It stole all my cigarettes, when we smoked joints the cat came straight for us to smell our mouth, AND IT DRANK MY WHISKEY!!! O.o (true story)
@iowanative they are special, right? seems like they are more friendly and involved than regular cats. Mine are about 4 or 5 now, siblings! Friendliest, most attention loving cats I've ever had. lol Thanks!
You have two? That must be alot of fun. For some reason Buddy has some terrible anger issues. Plus he bites his own tail (hard) and growls and hisses (at himself). This self-hurting behavior got him to be on Prozac, which helps if I give it to him regulary. Sometimes I forget, and he fights me so hard to pill him. It's hard to explain, but he will just attack the other cats sometimes, and me too if I make him mad......
@iowanative LOL yeah, it can be fun, they're usually always up to something. Her brother is a punk, always trying to mess it up with anyone around. She is more laid back, only gets angry if another cat is in her space too much. She'll let them know she doesn't like it, and she really seems not to. I think it's 'cos she's always on her side, ya know? He is more upright most of the time and so, less angry. Having to give pills daily? Kudos to you for that...it's not easy with cats!
It used to be easier, but all of a sudden he has decided that he doesn't want something jammed down his throat anymore, so he fights me. Makes it hard on both of us. I tried to mash it up and put it in cheese (his favorite thing) but he was wise to that.
@iowanative yeah, they can be sneaky with pills and medicine in general. One of mine got a UTI and have to have liquid abx, so i thought to mix it in his wet food, but he just ate all around it. o_O I had to eventually put it straight down his throat. I think they can smell it, and I don't know of any easy way to medicate cats. They aren't like dogs and willing to eat anything...lol
@coacalom yeah, i know. that's what i'm asking. nobody is harming animals in this vidoe. she was born with a disorder. she is like this all the time, just like it says in the description of the video AND on my channel.
My cat acted like that after she came back from the vet after her surgery. She still acts like that, but that's only because she knows where the cat nip is.
I feel really sorry for you that your kitty is like that, but thank you for taking care of it. I really hate seeing kitties like this, as stalkingme2 also said, but its nice that you take care of it and don't abandon it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Man, i say put the cat to sleep. i hate seeing cats that are retarded of have 3 legs cos its just not natural for the poor buggers to live the rest of their life like that. it cant even chase a bird or even a fuckin mouse! Just to sad to watch this.
the cat may not be waht we consider "normal" but he obviously has a family willing to take care of a special needs animal. That cat is very lucky to have a loving owner. Kudos to them. That kitty gets to know love from a family.
a disease that affects the cerebellum, which controls motor function, among other things. It causes it to be underdeveloped, thus, the cat moves funny, has tremors, and is generally uncoordinated.
It happens when the kitty's mother is exposed to distemper. The mother cat becomes a carrier, but doesn't get ill. The kitties are affected though. Not always all of them, sometimes just one. For some reason it affects the cerebellum, which controls the cat's coordianation.
she is soo cute i would love that cat i like every animal almost every animal loves me i walk past squirrles and they dont run away and since she has that dises or illness for her life that would make me like her even more omg why do you have

So, without reading all the comments, is this a CH kitty, or having after effects of anesthesia??
iowanative 1 year ago
@iowanative yep, she's a CH kitty. :)
crazedweazels 1 year ago
Sweet little kitty. I also have a CH kitty. He is about 10 years old and has been such a joy!
iowanative 1 year ago
@iowanative they are special, right? seems like they are more friendly and involved than regular cats. Mine are about 4 or 5 now, siblings! Friendliest, most attention loving cats I've ever had. lol Thanks!
crazedweazels 1 year ago
You have two? That must be alot of fun. For some reason Buddy has some terrible anger issues. Plus he bites his own tail (hard) and growls and hisses (at himself). This self-hurting behavior got him to be on Prozac, which helps if I give it to him regulary. Sometimes I forget, and he fights me so hard to pill him. It's hard to explain, but he will just attack the other cats sometimes, and me too if I make him mad......
iowanative 1 year ago
@iowanative LOL yeah, it can be fun, they're usually always up to something. Her brother is a punk, always trying to mess it up with anyone around. She is more laid back, only gets angry if another cat is in her space too much. She'll let them know she doesn't like it, and she really seems not to. I think it's 'cos she's always on her side, ya know? He is more upright most of the time and so, less angry. Having to give pills daily? Kudos to you for that...it's not easy with cats!
crazedweazels 1 year ago
It used to be easier, but all of a sudden he has decided that he doesn't want something jammed down his throat anymore, so he fights me. Makes it hard on both of us. I tried to mash it up and put it in cheese (his favorite thing) but he was wise to that.
iowanative 1 year ago
@iowanative yeah, they can be sneaky with pills and medicine in general. One of mine got a UTI and have to have liquid abx, so i thought to mix it in his wet food, but he just ate all around it. o_O I had to eventually put it straight down his throat. I think they can smell it, and I don't know of any easy way to medicate cats. They aren't like dogs and willing to eat anything...lol
crazedweazels 1 year ago
I'm gonna try the wet food and see how he does. But the Prozac is really bitter.

My cat acted like that after she came back from the vet after her surgery. She still acts like that, but that's only because she knows where the cat nip is.

Man, i say put the cat to sleep. i hate seeing cats that are retarded of have 3 legs cos its just not natural for the poor buggers to live the rest of their life like that. it cant even chase a bird or even a fuckin mouse! Just to sad to watch this.
stalkingme2 2 years ago
And your comment is just too sad and pathetic to actually give thought to. Guess it's a draw, huh?
crazedweazels 2 years ago
the cat may not be waht we consider "normal" but he obviously has a family willing to take care of a special needs animal. That cat is very lucky to have a loving owner. Kudos to them. That kitty gets to know love from a family.

wat is cerebellar hypoplasia
dudupoopo 2 years ago
a disease that affects the cerebellum, which controls motor function, among other things. It causes it to be underdeveloped, thus, the cat moves funny, has tremors, and is generally uncoordinated.
crazedweazels 2 years ago
It happens when the kitty's mother is exposed to distemper. The mother cat becomes a carrier, but doesn't get ill. The kitties are affected though. Not always all of them, sometimes just one. For some reason it affects the cerebellum, which controls the cat's coordianation.
