People need to do research before screaming "rip off". Because most of the time, it actually isn't. Just people being ignorant, thinking that just because they saw something first or because of the little knowledge they have of it means they can call it a rip off. If they did their research properly, they would know that they're not trying to be like Power Rangers Turbo.

I think people can give Saban a break, it has been 8 years since they produced a Power Rangers series, maybe the next one will be better. I ignored this mainly because I believed all of these Saban nostalgic saying it was crap, but after watching the whole season, I can confirm this season has some of the best, if not the best, writing we've ever had from any series. And I like the fact that they addressed and gave an explanation for all of the power ranger cliches like the spandex and explosions.

There's goofy, and then there's outright stupid and annoying. Ziggy is the latter. And that has nothing to do with Go-Onger. Go-Onger or no Go-Onger, Ziggy's still a waste of space.
On the one hand, I like how they went for a darker, post-apocalyptic story. On the other hand, THEY PICKED THE WRONG SENTAI TO DO IT WITH!
Go-Onger was a campy, lighthearted sentai with talking cars and comic-relief villains. Same mistake they made with PR Turbo. Taking a comedy sentai and trying to make it serious.
Also, Ziggy annoys the fuck out of me. Hanto wasn't exactly the most assertive bulb on the branch, but at least he had a working brain.
@BluntmanEXE You have problems with RPM making the source material too serious but then have a problem with Ziggy who's goofyness is basically the remnants of Go-Onger's goofiness (save for some Gem and Gemma moments, Dr. K's humor and comedy scenes they do use as well as funny stuff from Venjix and his generals)?
Power Ranger RPM & Jungle Fury were and will always be my favorite. RPM has a more serious storyline. The first couple episodes were more real than just people in spandex beating monsters/robots. You kinda get a sense of how the black ranger feels and his problems etc. It's actually an enjoyable series. I wish they would re-air it on TV.
@sabakuownsall No, it's even better than Turbo. Have you watched RPM? The story is completely different and they are battling machines like in the Terminator movies and Zeo. It's a very serious storyline unlike that annoying Divatox.

They have to buy footage and make a deal with Japan anyways. They have never done an entirely American ranger series with their own American zords, suits, and weapons.

Say what you want about the theme song but this is one of the best power ranger seasons since Time Force.Now that saban has the power ranger series again it gives me hope but at the same time worry since saban all already dumbing down power powers with there latest series samurai,now don't get me wrong am glad saban has the series again and and I like samurai but dialogue and writing needs some work and stop copying the story episode from Shinkenger.

@FasikaR Lightspeed Rescue was fine. Turbo and Operation Overdrive were the worst POS they ever did. One from Saban and another from Disney. This season I expeted to Syck but it's either the second best Disney season (Dino Thunder being first) or the best. Hard to decide. And overall it's one of the best seasons PERIOD. I'd say at most top 5 (If you don't count MMPR as 3 separate seasons) and if not right outside it.

@sabakuownsall No, it's even better than Turbo. Have you watched RPM? The story is completely different and they are battling machines like in the Terminator movies and Zeo. It's a very serious storyline unlike that annoying Divatox.

@sabakuownsall Oh, that's because they are just adapting the original series from Japan. Whatever the Super Sentai show has is what America will do for Power Rangers. They have to buy footage and make a deal with Japan anyways. They have never done an entirely American ranger series with their own American zords, suits, and weapons.

@imaginepeace63 It wouldn't matter. In case you haven't known, Power Rangers is an adaptation of Super Sentai, a Japanese show. Power Rangers is not a dub, it is them taking props and stock footage from it, making a new show out of it so that it could be viewed by American audience. Part 1.

@imaginepeace63 Part 2. Zyuranger was the first to be adapted, and it was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 1. Now, because Go-Onger has all of this crap, that is what Power Rangers RPM is going to be. They don't make the zords or anything.

@blacksnake24 Disney doesn't use always use same plots in the show. RPM overall had original American story and characters. Just the same costumes and megazords. However, the new Samurai season's story is almost exactly ripped off from Sentai Shinkenger.

Eh, I like this song. It's catchy and repetitive, kind of like the original Go Go Power Rangers. And in my opinion it's definitely better than the demo themes. I hated that poppy version.

Say what you want about the theme song but this is one of the best power ranger seasons since Time Force.Now that saban has the power ranger series again it gives me hope but at the same time worry since saban all already dumbing down power powers with there latest series samurai,now don't get me wrong am glad saban has the series again and and I like samurai but dialogue and writing needs some work and stop copying the story episode from Shinkenger.

@FasikaR Lightspeed Rescue was fine. Turbo and Operation Overdrive were the worst POS they ever did. One from Saban and another from Disney. This season I expeted to Syck but it's either the second best Disney season (Dino Thunder being first) or the best. Hard to decide. And overall it's one of the best seasons PERIOD. I'd say at most top 5 (If you don't count MMPR as 3 separate seasons) and if not right outside it.
