wow in that video u were like 14 and on level 4 i was on level 4 when i was seven f.y.i it looked like u just made up that video and u cnt even do a cartweel wow
You look quite tall, are you tall? because i'm tall, starting late and I may compete so I feel like I would be out of place at a compitition among all those little kids. When you did this in a competition did you feel out of place?
it dosnt matter if shes tall.......shes fun sized lets end there! good job, i bet that dismount has hard to land on the floor haha very nice pointed toes! extremlly noticable......
it's jus a little known fact...being shorter makes it easier, i never said the rules said anything about it. i know plenty of tall gymnasts, in fact a girl on my team 2 years ago was 5'7! she did very well. and this girls routine was very good (in the video)
Well I Thought You Were Good But Mostly It Was Just Flicks Of Arms And Legs And Arms Up In The Air, Which Looked Good And Routined But A Bit Bland. However I Thought You Did Well And I Dont Know Much About Gym So I Shouldnt Be Critisising !
Practicing on a flat area is a lot different than practicing and performing on a beam that's 4 feet high. Your hands are positioned different, and turns will get wobbly. would love to see you during competition. Some people practice well and perform lousy and others vice versa. My daughter wobbles during practice, but does well during her meets. Guess she does better under pressure. The important thing is to look like you're enjoying it, and having fun - and you do. So keep up the work!
yeah, for me in level 4 it was straight split. then in level 5 it was straight straight split, nd six was straight split split then the routines changed and six is tuck split. my level 7 was leap split 1/4 (or half) and i had pike pike
I never competed this routine.. I did the old level 4 routine.. it was so boring! I liked the old level 5 routine though, it was my favorite to compete.
nice how old r u? im 13 i do level 4 too! u just have to put that form onto the beam! do u have team cup this year or states? cause in ny we have team cup well whatever it is good luck!!!
Level 3 is competitive now? Huh, I'm from California, we only start at level 4. I started gymnastics when I was twelve too and spent 2 years on level 4 (we have to get a 36.5 to move up at my gym, at my last few meets I was scoring 37s) And in just a year I did 5 and 6 and now I'm competing 7; I guess its just about how your body works.
I competed level four in 2007 as a 14 year old and I felt like I was older but we had 2 ten and 2 eleven year olds also. Being older made me more successful and I ended up winning states. So no you should not quit. :)
wow thats really good!!! i'm happy for you!!! i'm 14 too and i just got back into it again. i used to be on a team a few years ago but it took up to much time and i quit. but its been like 5yrs now. i started back at level 4 again and we have our first meet comin up pretty soon. will i see very many girls my age there?
Well it really depends like at states there were 18 close to my age. It really depends on the meet. Please keep me posted on how you do and good luck!!!! :)
Thanks all of the conditioning that wwe do puts you in good shape. No you are not to late I started when I was 12 and I just turned 14 and I am already going to level 5 now. You can do it. Just work really hard and you might even be able to win states like I did.
I think it depends...I think if you can do cartwheels and round-offs and handstands I think you can be in level 4. I dunno it's always different in any gym.
Well I was a complete begginer but I could do handstands and cartwheels but thats about all and yes I do have my back tuck. You will love it, give it a shot. :)
Well to answer your question I could do nothing on bars, beam, and vault. On fllor I could do cartwheels, round-offs, and handstands basically. BUt you are definitly not to old to start, let me know how it goes. good luck and you will love it!!!!!!
that was good, but i kind of agree with joccy101. you probably should have started earlier because at your age some of the judges might ask themselves what you are doing as a level 4 at that age. but it was still good.
i was doing pretty well but a couple days ago i sprained my ankle and i was in the process of switching gyms, but i expect to be doing pretty well soon.
Well it depends on where you want to go as a gymnast. If you wanted to be compete with the best like Nastia Liukin, then you should have started out earlier. But if you are just doing gymnastics for the fun of it then I guess you're doing fine.
Tht sorta sucked LEVEL 4 seriously plz work on the thing u call gymnastics I'm ten and so far I'm betta den u but... I don't train
