to lantaolislands: I think your explanation is the right one. When Charice sings in front of an audience she gets so much into the song that, as you say, they were totally in shock. There is another video of charice with fans after the show somewhere else on YouTube and you can clearly see the conductor talking with her manager. He looked like he was expressing his awe about Charice or wondering who exactly was she.

Seems to me he never performed for a singer of Charice stature before.

When it came to show time, they were totally at shock with the vocal and stage performance of Charice! The band then become a slow-running horse with Charice is a fast rider on top of it ! Bad band or what not, this first solo concert in the US just proved, once again, that Charice is one heck of a survivor. She always manage to turn unfavourable circumstance on its head and make it work to her advantage. This showcases her God-given gift talent in music ...incredible really because the band was sometimes out of tune, out of timing, but she was still able to make he singing wonderful to listen to. WOW Charice! I wich I were like you in my own craft.
