We are spending a whole heck of a lot of money each day on a war we don't need to be in and that we got into based on lies. He might of promised to work with republicans, but since he took office, he has been the most fiscally liberal president since Jimmy Carter. All of his plans preceding the health care reform passed by sheer brute numbers in Congress. Nothing republicans said mattered against their majority.
The only reason health care reform hasn't passed yet is because members of his own party, the so-called Blue-Dog democrats who actually understand economics, realized that this is not something to be rushed.

His tax plans are pretty solid, with many economists, even notoriously conservative ones, supporting him. And the stock drop was not a reaction to Obama, but to the news that 200,000 jobs were lost in October, and it is expected that many more will be cut through the rest of the year. Most people on wall street aren't too worried about Obama or Mccain.

Thats why countries other countries get bombed more than the US. Yes we get caught slipping at times, but WE recognize the threat. No1 said ALL PEOPLE IN IRAN ARE TERRORISTS. This is ignorant. Foreign nations typically like democrats more simply because they use the "I have a big stick" like conservatives. The liberal policy is first diplomatic, then if necessary go to war. Essentially, the argument is that because we all live in the world, we should at least be cordial. And what do you define as "terrorist"? A religious group, nationality, or ethnicity doesn't define terrorism, so I'm wondering what do you think it is.

If Biden believes the world is going to generate a crisis to test Obama, doesn't that clearly show that he believes the world knows Obama isn't a suitable leader for our country? Don't you Libs get it? Your VP candidate came out with a massive disclaimer, telling you to 'stick with them' because they are going to make choices you don't agree with. Do yourself a favor and listen to all the third party canidates, I'm willing to bet your going to agree with a couple of their policies, you might even start understanding that the system is fundimentally flawed.

John: I don't think you understand my point. If you agree that the constitution should be upheld and you argue that Bush didn't, how does that make Obama's disdain for the Constitution any less significant?
I understand that the constitution was a document that was written in large part to limit the powers of the Government, and that flies in the face of Obama's fundamental views for the role the Government should play in America's lives; if you can see through his slick Obamaspeak.

I think i know your angle -- probably sore about gun control. Though you could say that Libel lawsuits limit free speech too. But you have to remember it's congress that makes the laws, not the president.

I don't own a gun. But I think people kill people, not guns. And clearly bans do nothing to limit gun crimes, and I think they effectively create an environment where a criminal knows they don't have to worry about someone being able to defend themselves.

The last 8 years have completely disproven the failed conservative ideology of trickle down economics (massive tax cuts for the rich and corporations coupled with deregulation). Here's another fun fact per McClatchy Newspapers: 84% of subprime loans came from PRIVATE lenders. So stop blaming the Dems and "low income loans" for this financial mess. 16% of the bad loans clearly were not the issue. Facts hurt.

80% of the corporations that don't pay taxes don't pay them because they post a net loss. Also, only certain types of corporations pay corporate taxes. The ones that don't pay other types of taxes, such as excise and use taxes.
Fanny and freddie purchased 44% of the subprime securities between 1995 and 2004. Did you know that?

I've listed my sources BOTH times. You? Not once. I give NON-partisan sources. The "criticism" and "facts" that you're referring to come straight from conservative think tanks like the Heritage foundation, or papers like the Washington Times, etc.
Sorry, but that doesn't count. I've said my piece and unlike you I don't have time to write 100 youtube comments every day. My advice is that going forward, you list non-partisan sources and give more facts, not just opinion. Good luck and goodbye!

I schooled you with non-partisan sources and facts so I understand you had to come back by pointing out an honest mistake. Playing the role of the grammar police doesn't make your unsupported claims (and biased sources) any more substantive. Nor does it wipe out the last 8 years of failed conservative ideology, (the same failed ideology that created the

This "joelseph98" is SUCH an idiot (and he's got WAY too much time on his hands leaving 100comments BTW). He keeps talking about Obama's tax plan killing jobs. That is his OPINION. I gave him the FACT that per the NON-Partisan GAO, 2/3 of US corporations paid NO TAXES from 1998-2005. Yet we outsourced a record number of jobs over that period, and I didn't notice the cost of goods and services decreasing.
Corporations do NOT pay high taxes here and cutting taxes does NOT reduce our costs.

So, if you are correct, and 2/3 corporations don't pay taxes, where is the added revenue from the hikes going to come from to offset the job losses that small to mid sizes business take? The ones that don't pay taxes still won't, right? The ones that do take the hit and some WILL lay off employees.
If I'm wrong, explain why. Don't resort use schoolyard names and belligerance. Are you an adult?

We are spending a whole heck of a lot of money each day on a war we don't need to be in and that we got into based on lies. Why is it so difficult to imagine that that same amount of money spent each day on the social and economic ills of this country would not be in EVERYONE'S best interest? This was a wonderfully produced piece. It showed the best of America and the piece showed that we need to become more concerned about others. It was that concern that made America great in the first place.
